Lumina SS a good choice or not ?

i donno about lumina...but then i have a question about volks wagon.

Well, i want to buy a good car....reasonable price, but that will take me for a while. However, i'm worried about european cars not having a good resale price later on.

but then japanese cars r as fragile as foil.
so would i be better off with a volkswagon or with a hyundai?

From what i have been hearing about the car is that it is a good one...

and ppl praise it for it looks and outcome...(power,etc)
so i guess if i were u i would choose Lumina SS....if not that then between hyundai adn VW i would defitnely go for VW...

By the way i have a q..why does someone when they think of buying a car the next thought that comes to thier minds is how much they will get if they sold it in th future???

probably because apart from the people who like to change cars every few years so that they are not stuck with an old model that needs repairs every time, you also never know when you might need spare cash quick. The car is an investment as well as a commodity. If you think you will want to sell or exchange cars in the future you would want to get the most out of this sale. Some cars don't sell well beacause their spare parts are not easily available, so that is why many people go for Japanese cars which are cheaper and sell more readily as it is easy to find their spare parts.

i know this is really old but ive moved to bahrain and decided a cheap good car is the lumina ss for speed and fun, i will be looking to spend about 2500BHD maximum what are the things i should look out for when buying the car.... things to check on the body or engine.... anything that might help in finding problems with the car before i buy..... probably a 2000 or 2001 model for this money......

If you have a contact from the Police you can pull the car's record and see if it's been in any major accidents. See if it's been imported, and if it is get an international report (from the internet).

Open the hood, and see if there are weird dents or scratches and ask about them, and if possible check the car's service record from the dealership.

will do the checks, have a few friends who work at dealerships here.... just wanted to know the key things to look for, i am seeing one tonight which is a 2001 with a 2005 bodykit in red..... will see what its like....

there are many places where u can get a full check up on the car...

you checking up the car urself isnt such a good idea specially for a 2001 model car...

i came across some deals which the car was super clean but after the check up dont by the dealer turns out it has major problems!

good luck with the car, powerfull and can be used as a daily car...
