Yes am am back from a short 'holiday' which took me to the Spice Island on the Indian Ocean and the mainlan 'Tanzania'. My visit coincided with the commemoration of the third year since the death of the Great Tanzanian Leader; the late 'mwalimu-Julius Kambarage Nyerere 'may he rest in peace' Amin. I was in the grand city of Tanzania when the Youths marched on foot from Dar-es-Salaam to, Dodoma, the Capital City of Tanzania. I wish I would have taken part on the march but it was not that easy since the occasion was official and arranged in Youths represantation from all the regions of Tanzania. In the evening I watched the documentary film of the late father of the nation. The film was basically consisting of the Great Tanzanian Leader's speaches that he used to deliver to the nation urging them to remain UNITED. The late mwalimu despised tribalism and branded it as an enemy of the well being of the nation. He regarded tribalism as similar to one eating another human being. He said that " once one eats a fellow human being would continue eating the rest non-stop ". I struggled to understand the point but it was so difficult for me to comprehend it since am from Oman where we do not know what tribalism is, I was lost by mwalimu's speach. However, mwalimu as a mwalimu he quickly elaborated the meaning and said that " once the society agree to seperate one tribe from national building activities, the whole society goes on discounting other tribes one after another ". He also warned the Zanzibaris that if they break away from the Union, their action would be followed by others like the Pemba Island would break away from Zanzibar followed by other regions on the mainland breaking away on regional and tribal basis.

I was impresed by the mwalimu's great wisdom and my views of him as a GREAT LEADER Tanzania would ever have. Alas ! this is an imperfect world but people only remembers good leaders when they have departed and Blessed are those who remembers them for many many years and generations. Surely mwalimu was a Great Leader and his video recorded speaches are worth listening to.

Though I am back As a student of 'political science' I indend to depart after Eidd but this time to the Great Asian Land to the INDIA to learn more about it's great leader the late Mahtma Ghandi to see what I can learn there. Am told Ghandi brought to INDIA democracy whilst the late Mwalimu brought Unity to the people of Tanzania.

I hope guys you'd find my story interesting and you may consider to learn more about the Tanzanian society. As a matter of fact, Tanzania is a country of vast ethnicity, dwelled by people of all races you would know of. There are Indians, Arabs, Chinese and Europeans including africans from all corners of the African continents. And all these live in great harmony with the indigenious people of the country. Those in possessions of Tanzanian travel documents are taken as Tanzanian nationals.
Tanzania is not a member of the Islamic League but five times a day the Grand Village of Dar-es-Salaam vibrates under the calls of al-Muadhen. Truelly DAR-ES-SALAAM and May Allah Bless the People of Tanzania.

Dearest Sloath,

I have been asking about you for ages and finally you return to the bosom of those who love you. We have missed you terribly. Please don't be a stranger from us on your travels in India.... drop in once in a while will you?

I wondered when I saw your posts back whether someone else had stolen your name. You seem a little....harsh...these days, Brother Sloath, and I hope that life is not giving you cause for bitterness. But when I saw in religion Sabla that you were going to dress up and go and interview Jesus (pbuh), I knew that the true Sloath was with us once again.

A thousand welcomes, my friend :)
