Thought id jump right in as a new member and start a new discussion.

Its seems that every other conversation over here goes something like this..

"Have you seen the new Potter Movie?"
"Yeh but how do you think it compares to the book?"

well...never read any harry potter book, so i can't really compare ! but am sure the book is better as is the case with most (Novel to Film) movies!

have to agree with you. few movies do the book justice..When watching a movie your imagination is not allowed run wild.

However if you have not read them BI i recommend you do they are fantastic books. Where the film is aimed more at children the books appeal to both young and old.
