Dear Friends
where do u prefer to let ur kids study @
Private Schools or Public Schools,,, We Can See
Difference between the outcoming from both schools
such as language ,thinking ,marks and etc!
plus why dont all shcools teach in english i mean the subjects as long when students graduate and go to work english language is the main thing they ask for coz many students when they graduat from university specialy who studies in arabian countries go and take courses for 6 months or less maybe more coz they know when they go to apply for job he/she will be asked about the english
language ? So why the government changes the subjects to be studied in English ?

If i had the letters "HRT"
i can add "EA" toget a "Heart"
or "U" and get "Hurt" But I'd
reather choose "U" And Get "Hurt"
then have a "Heart" without "U"
;)

HI ALL,I went to a private school till i was 15 and it was a good experence for me as a girl really. In mixed schools girls and boys learn how to treat each other and cos at the end of the day when a girl gets a job she will meet boys all the way so it is important for her to get uesd to an environment with biys in it,and if she goes to study aboroad like me ,here in uk u've got to know how to act and treat boys.
Well, that's what i think about it anyway...

Although you ended your topic with the cool face,
I am far from being cool with your main suggestion.

Why shouldn’t all schools teach in English ??
Because our Arabic is already broken but at least we can manage to sense poems and read well written Arabic books. If students at all schools are to be tough in English then our next generation will not even be able to appreciate the brilliance of Arabic. You can’t imagine how proud I am when talking in Arabic through phone while my European friends are listening to me.

Taking an English course before University if needed is not a negative thing although it may take six months or one year. However, a university guy who studies all modules in English won’t be affected like those kids at schools who are on the process in Arabic learning.

We can still finish high schools with reasonably not bad English using the current system if teaching is to be improved and new techniques are implemented. Private or Public schools are not to be discussed here, maybe some other time insha allah.

Read my signature to taste what I meant by brilliant Arabic.

I think English is a very important language for us to know these days. Nevertheless, we should not forget our first language Arabic and should also be taught. By always talking in english and detesting arabic, we are letting ourselves down, and what can be more embbarrasing ??! We should all be proud of our language and also respect others too.
I think schools should teach in arabic and english.
BTW,, Going to a Private school is not just a waste of money. It uses special learning and teaching techniques which most goverment schools don't. However, they are people, and I in person, know people in goverment school whom are a hundred times clevere then those in Privates.
However, it should not be put in mind that those in a private school are just a matter of showoffs coz their not. They just want to recieve all the best of education and if their happy with it and can afford, why not ??
In the end, Goverment or Provate school (who cares) It's your knowledge thats most important. If you think you can make it ina goverment school then, all7amdulilah, mashalah ur clever and god helps u. I credit you. & if you need more support in a private school then go ahead. As far as everyone recieves the education needed. And everyones happy with their learning standard.
