MARADONA!!!!! i have never seen anyone who can control a ball the way he does! he can score from anyplace!! his passes r very efficiant. ....i dont know what to say about Maradona man, just look at him when he playes! he is the smartes player ever and can carry a team by him self(like he did for napoli and his national team in 86) a like no other!....... if he was in his 20's today, i think his price will be a billion dollars!

Well Yousef 3baid ,,is good player ,,he might was the best in the world in the latest 80s and early 90s ,,but you know he is a goalkeeper ,,so he didn't have the skills Maradona and Pele used to have :duh: .

One other thing for you ,,Try to keep out of the sportas far to the outer limit which lies in your left hand

:eyes: :eyes:

Note : We are talking only about Maradona and Pele :sorry: :duh:

It's fair ,,,coz we are talking about the best in the century ,,so those two players are the best over the last century and i wanna know what people think bout them ,,If we are talking about short period of time then yeah it wown't be fair ,,in this case i think it's fair .

Hope you get me :eyes:

… well the real answer of your question is that I think Maradouna is better, because I think that he was able to control the ball and have very good maneuver much more than Bele……

It's not quite fair as Pele and Maradona never played at the same time......the game changes, even the ball changes (much lighter in Maradona's time than Pele's).

Maradona was certainly a skilfull, exciting and aggressive player. But he was also a terrible cheat. He used steroids throughout his career to build his body and increase his aggression. He also took amphetamines and ephedrine before games (both are types of stimulant) to give him an unfair 'edge' over other players. Not to mention his cocaine addiction and alleged involvement in match fixing for the Mafia when he played in Italy. Oh yes, and he once scored the winner in a World Cup semi-final with his hand, and lied about it.

Pele was not only a footballing genius ahead of his time, but he was also clean from drugs and a good sport. Even now he works for the good of the game, while Maradona is back in rehab.....

mimosa ,,all what you have mentioned is true ,,!!!

But when Maradona gave his best effort in 1986 and ,,He hasn't started doing what you have said ,

And if we compared the both players in the life in general ,,then i agree Pele is far ahead in Maradona ,,

But what i am asking here is football and only football ,,no matter what everyone has done in his personal life ,,

Anyway ,,everyone got his own idea ,,

and mine is Maradona is the best ever .

Navi,

But surely that's the issue with Maradona: You can't separate the life from the football, because even as early as 1978 Maradona was using performance enhancing drugs, and in the 1986 World Cup you mention he cheated Argentina to victory in the semi by 'scoring' with his hand!

Maradona was an awesome talent, but a cheat. And he didn't dominate his generation the way Pele dominated his: Who can you think of who was revered in the same way as Pele in the 60's and 70's. Johann Cruyff maybe? Perhaps not. But in Maradona's time, there have been so many greats: Van Basten, Platini, Hoddle, Voeller etc etc.....

I am really wondering ,,that you are comparing Mardona with those player ,,!!!!

By the way ,,from where did you get that Maradona was using performance enhancing drugs in 1978 or even 1986 ?!!!

And scoring one goal by hand is not the matter ,,What he did with the ball was great ,,

I have no doubts that in the life Maradona is not a good example ,,but he's still a great player ,,and the best ever .
