And how did u know about sabla? well..i suppose since the day i regestered (23rd of october 2001), my sis introduced me to the sabla cause she wanted me to check out a thread about omani girls or something like that!! hehe..the guys were saying that omani girls are ugly and my sis was pissed about that!! :D
3. Who choosed you to be a moderator?? And why did they choose u? Thug4life i suppose!! why? i dunno !! :)
4.Are u happy doing this work? Or it’s a hard thing to do? i'm happy to do it, and it's quite easy i must say!! although i do get pissed at some members , but hey!! i'm good at controling my temper!!!

13.Do u face any kind of problems while doing the moderators job? Nope!! except when yellow bugs me with his silly comments , or pulls on cheap tricks such as stealing my avatar!! but it's great laugh at the end of the day!!
14.In your opinion, English songs are better than Arabic song or Arabic songs are better and why? i only listen to english songs, i find arabic songs boring cause they all sound the same!!
15.What are you most looking forward to doing in the future? getting my driving license!! i'm a terrible driver!! lol

oh god!! i dunno..many ,i always was fond of drawing people, and i started when i was in class 5 , (i was terrible, use to draw the head using a round pencil sharpener...but stangely enough one of my pencil sharpener darwings won me an award!! lol) , anyways..i have many..but my best work started from 1997!!
What Kind of drowing art you make?
well...mostly cartoon, but in many different ways..they can be drawn by charcoal pencils, or by markers, or...or!!
What is the usual size of your drowing paper?
many, but mostly the normal darwing pad sizes!!

Music...wallah i listen to almost anything really..except rap!! (some rap is alright like Eve, missy, lil kim, and don't mind it if it's just a little bit in the middle of a song!!) ...but i mostly listen to dance music, some old 80's early 90's song!!
my taste in music is weird to be honest,,i like songs which have weird noises in it!! (you should sheck out madoona's new bond song, and you'll be like what the hell was that!!) :)
movies all movies except cheap action flicks!!! like all those cheasy van dam movies!! but i mostly watch drama movies which have lots of talking in it along with a beautiful score in the backround!!
some old 80's early 90's song!!

well..untill a year ago..i used to draw using only pen and paper..and a few crayons... or charchoal pencils.
now i mostly use the computer to add all sorts of effects to them and the colors are much more solid..which is good for what i do (cartoons).

Q. What is your style?
well..cartoons mostly. people to be more specific. i've always been facinated with it.. and it was just coincidence that i chose cartooning to be my feild of drawing. there was this guy in my class who used to do cartoons as well..and the moment i saw his work..i was like.. wow..i wanna do that. and al7amdulliah..after loads of practicing ,and going through the work of thousands of artists i finally was able to draw my own cartoons..and gave my self my own unique style.

umm..ive already been in several drawing competions , but that was during school days. dont think i have the time to be in any..now.. plus i lack alot .,..and still need more practicing..to reach the levels of being a great cartoonist. so ya..inshallah i will reach a proffesional level..one day. :)

umm..ok..i asked for it.. can i just choose a song? rather than a whole album?
anyways..if a song i would say madonna's "OH father" .. as a repressed teenager i used to loved that song. what can i say.. it was typical of me then to hate whatever my father forced me to do even though i knew it was best for me.
i guess that helped me get over it a bit. no album is responcible for the i am now.. all i am is the doing and influence of people around me (family and friends).

anyways.. childhood dream? well..i guess i always wanted to be an artist. plus i used to love balloons to death lol.. so i always dreamt of having a shop special for selling balloons.. only. all sorts of balloons. and that i was the one in charge of filling the balloons with gas. :D
corny i know..but anyways..i got over my obsession with balloons byt the age of 12 or 13. and it was no longer a dream.

hell ya.. i get to kick some butt and i get to lock whatever topic i dont like and ban whoever pisses me off... lol.. umm ..am just joking..dont kill me. well it's all cool..lots of work though..and big responsibility , but i love the challenge.

not really. not many appreciate it..especially when it comes to cartooning. we're still behind when it comes to this sort of appreciation. a living? would have considered if i was in any other country where u actually get payed well for it. unlike here of course..so no use.

i work in the I.T department of a publishing company. and it's alright...for now..as it's just something to fill my time. till i finish college and all. plus am a cartoonist for the youthobserver.. some might have actually seen my work .

Err.. why in gods name would u bring this back from the dead u silly man!
anyways..
being an assitant admin isnt as fun as i thought it would be 2 years ago.. and well.. although i do enjoy it most of the time.. i have to admit that i do get stressed out many times..cause there's just so much to deal with..and as the sabla grows bigger every year.. the more issues there are to handle.. but all in all its a good experience and it does effect positively on my over all attitude and studies (since its about graphic designing..and part of that has to do with web development).
- My comic strips? well i had to leave the country for my studies..and so i just couldnt manage to continue that. perhaps in the future maybe..i'll be doing something better and more professional.

Err , I am not a teen anymore , and so i would like to believe that i behave like an adult. people over here are starting to say that i act like a 30 year old.. which is actually something i'm happy about. :p

nopes , I come from the city.. i doubt many city people look after goats.. but we do have some in the farm..and i liked feeding them when i went there. :hehe:

I am trying to build myself a portfolio site , but its going to take a while till i learn exactly what has to be done.. since am not all that brilliant when it comes to web development.
4- Do you like making avatars for members?
depends on the member actually. I like making them for some members who just take what i give them and trust my vision.. but i dont like it when some get picky and demand changes here and there.. if small changes then i dont mind... otherwise i would most likely get irritated.. especially if i spend time and make something really complex , only to see it removed or replaced to something.. well .. lets just say not so charming. :mmhmm:

I would draw my typical cartoon face whith the big eyes and nose , thats what always comes out when i first start scribbling.

What is the difference between an artist and a designer?
Based on MY beliefe and understanding , I would say that an artist is a natural talent.. who is gifted from the start , but a designer is basically tought to design and create and doesnt have to be gifted.
an artist can be a designer.. but i dont think a designer can necessarily be an artist.. if u know what i mean.

While drawing, what does depth means to you ?
Depth to me is basically the hidden meaning behind a drawing.. whether simple or complex..and i dont think that many have the ability to actually get it. just look at my latest art work 'touch' :p .

What do you think about this ... I just did it now and I want to know what you think about it!
its not bad for something u did using the mouse.. but ur choice in colors is quite bad i must say. lol
light green on top of light blue? hmm.. am not too sure about it.
Hmm.. when i look at that i see someone hiding from something , yet reaching out for someone to find him and help him out . your choice of cold colors more than the hot ones ... show that u're a rather calm person in nature.. but might get temperamental if provoked. the black grid shows that u're confused about something and u're longing for an explanation... but u'll keep looking out till u figure it out.
LOL.. now isnt that a load of crap.. anyways.. not bad. :p

Different.. different... I don't really know , people who've known me 3 years ago would probably give a better answer..but I think i am more 'together' and alot less hot tempered than I used to be...and I'm more in focus on what i want out of life and my goals.

Let me ask, How much do you feel you have changed from the person you were the day this thread was opened and the person you are today while I'm posting this? :D

I would definitely relate more to the answer above from 2005 regarding being more composed and add that I'm less judgmental, calmer, more understanding of other people's mentalities and more compassionate towards their circumstances. 9 years is a long time and alot has happened to me since, I used to study something totally different, didn't really know what I wanted out of life, didn't realize the importance of taking charge of it and making my own decisions. I used to lack confidence, was very defensive and unforgiving of anyone who attacked me, now I find it alot easier to look the other way when I don't like something or am not comfortable with a situation and add that I am much better at expressing myself and conveying my message. All I can say that I'm much more comfortable with my own skin and when I look back and think why it took me so long to finally settle down and get married (It's happening after 2 weeks inshallah) I can breathe a sigh of relief and say that I am really ready now and realize that I needed all that time to resolve my issues and become the best version of me.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, didn't see that coming. :P
