Visions/Dreams

Some people don't believe in Jinn, now I wonder how many of you don't believe in Visions!

So do you believe in them? :p

I mean by "visions" these dreams (not in the Islamic sense) in which you see something from the future (I think this type is called "Good Vision" الرؤيا الصالحة), or can be interpreted ("True Vision" الرؤيا الصادقةI think).

"Dreams" الأحلام are referred to anything else you see while asleep.

I have to say yes. I saw 9/11 attacks two days before they happened ;) I was 12 right then.

I've never experienced such thing, so I can't really give my opinion on whether I think it's real or not. As far as its existence, no I don't think that it exists, unless I personally experience it and it actually does happen in reality.

Wow. I don't think I ever visioned anything. I did dream once that Omani football team won something 2-1, but it's just a dream that happened to come true, I guess. I thought only prophets have future visions but to be honest I never searched about it.

Yes i see things before they happen....as u said true vision........i do believe in them but not the concept exactly.......sometimes in dreams we see something really amazing but in future the incident taking place may be related to it in a totally different manner.....

eg.....i saw some guy meeting me and giving me a gift in a vision but it actually took place after 3-4 months and he gave me my thing back...so u see they are related but not exactly ............

In your case 9/11 bombings.....it happens......mostly in dreams ur previous thoughts are reflected.....it could be possible u saw a bomb scene on a news channel or t.v before long time .....but seriously seeing 9/11 attack two days before it happened.....that is weirdly amazing.....either you have special powers.....or you predict future.......

in that show "bayni wa baynakoum"

he said that we are a culture that are used to dreaming instead of sticking to reality ... that's why people dream, and think of it as a vision .. then they go and work according to that vision .. as the Sheikh said .. why don't we stick to what we have, work according to the Quran and Sunna' instead of adding stuff on our own according to the so called "Visions"

^ that's different, I was talking about the islamic kind of vision "ro2ya 9ali7a" as in the people who say I saw the Phrophet, and he told me to do this and do that ... that was my point of view !

and my vision came true beacuse i wanted it to :P I guess ...
and I heard that deja vu happens beacuse you dream about your day while you are asleep .. but you can't remember the whole dream, or some sort of way ...

The only dream I'd believe is if I dreamed of someone deceased talking to me because as far as I know dead people in your dreams only speak of the truth. But other than that not really I never believe in visions and being psychic and all in general.

It keeps happening to me these "Visions" but i got used to it .. One day this vision came to me seeing my sister taking something, and the next day the same vision happend it was like (Day ja vo) :p ..

i dont think its a coincidence , i get into those situations where i feel like this thing happened before , or its familiar
sometimes i dream that am sitting for example and my cousin is next to me and my father in front of me and we're talking about a certain thing in a certain time ....
after a while this situation becomes real , then i remember that i had a dream about it .
so am not really sure

I know that some people care a lot about dreams and visions and do whatever to find interpretations for their dreams. I don't like this kind of people but I don't think its a reason not to believe in visions!!

I don't call that visions. It happens with me too.

I know I had a vision when I remember the dream very well, and saying the copy of it on reality.

When I was 17 or 18 I had a vision. It was a very detailed vision. When it came true the following day I started screaming. Mum thought I was crazy :p But it was amazing, and scary at the same time. My brother was amazed too, because I talked to him about the vision before it happened in real life.

I believe in visions, I have no other choice.

I honestly dont really know whether to believe in visions or not, Its just hard to believe.

But i believe that dreams has meanings.
