In islam what happens to a person after his/her death?

Will put in a tomb which either is a place in heaven or a place in hell.

i meant where are our souls go or what will happen to her.

OK let me ask the question again.



what will happen to a soul of a muslim when it leaves the body?

Allahu Subhanahu Wataala, say in the holly Quraan:

"O soul who is at rest, return to thy Lord, well-pleased (with Him), well-pleasing (Him). So enter among My servants, and enter My garden." sadaka Allahu Aladhim.

After Death

I was laying down underground.
There was no voice of any sound.
I go up and looked around me.
There I saw nothing but my deeds.
I saw myself entering the world.
I saw my self exiting the world.
What is this a game or what?
Finally I had it all figured out.
I figured out that life isn't my destiny.
I figured out that hereafter is where I am going to last in.
so why are we sent to the world?
I figured out that we're sent to worship and obey.
Allah La ellah ela hoowa.
I figured out that we're sent to make up what we're going to pay

Its mentioned in the Koran that after death there is "Al Barza'7=ÇáÈÑÒÎ" and only Allah knows what is happining there.

According to some hadeeths that Allah will put the souls of those who are righteous as a bird moves between the trees of the heaven (ref to hadeeth no 702 in jamia Arabeea) and those souls of bad ones will be prisoned in hell.
