View Full Version : Oo. Amazing Race Results .oO
MamboBraziliano 28-07-02, 09:21 PM This is the corner where you can keep yourself updated with the latest races happening in town and post some remarks about them. SO if you have anything interesting go a head ;)
I will start with this one:
Subaru Impreza (modified) VS Toyota Corolla (standard)
The Corolla won twice as the race has been repeated coz the Impreza driver wasnt convinced. The Impreza had a Racing Muffler (HKS) & Racing Air Filter (K&N).

MamboBraziliano 03-08-02, 12:43 PM thursday was suppose to be a great day with three races, but that big event turned into a long boring waiting night :(
Six cars were suppose to meet & race against each other, lcukly not only six cars where there, but all the following,
* 9 Honda CRX (All modified)
* Toyota Celieca GTi (Modified)
* Mitsubishi Eclipse (Standard)
* Hyundai Coupe (Highly modified)
we were expecting great races till the first "Najda" car showed up when everything was paused :( we waited & waited but no result except for more cop cars comming into the scene. After about waiting for two & a half hours we had to pack & go back :(
I will tell you about the results when this is done again. Only one race on the side was done:
Mazda 323 GT VS Audi 100
the GT was in front throughout from 20km/h upto 180 km/h

MamboBraziliano 11-08-02, 10:29 PM Well well well here we go with the results of yesterdays races. Two races were held & here are the details:
* Honda Civic VS Toyota Corolla
A very interesting race since both cars were equivalent to eachother. It was very hard to make out who was in front through different gears. On first gear, they were both a side. Second gear, the Corolla went slightly to the front where on the same gear later, the civic caught up. Third gear the same senario happened by Corolla going in front first then Civic catching up. Fourth gear the Civic slightly went in front. The race was from (20 - 160 km/h)
* Honda Accord Coupe 2.3 Vtec VS Mazda 323 GT
The 323 was in front throughout. However, the Accord gave good competition on 3rd & 4rth gears to reduce the distance between the two cars as the 323 went far on the 1st & 2nd gears.

4-ever-young 11-08-02, 10:49 PM Thanks for the updates Mambobraziliano ;)
were the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla modified?
MamboBraziliano 12-08-02, 11:38 PM 4-eva, no both cars were standard, but more powerful than their normal models. Dont ask me how, but i think its the way their drivers drive. The Corolla is a 94 model that can beat any of the new models after it. It has been done and it won. The Civic on the other hand is standard too but it peaks over any other Civic even the Vti. The Civic has a duplicate body coz it had a major accident and the body was replaced with a much lighter body.

Quick Silver 08-10-02, 01:51 PM I hope you get arrested too... it's aslan not worth it dying racing in a car like corrolla or mazda...... may be if it was a ferrari or a mean driving M machine then it's worth it... :D :D :D

o0oh forgot to mention ;) I thought that Maxima and Lancer are one of the best ...And now i can see that CRX is goood too!
By the way Fahad, u said a bad driver with a goood car can always loose haa! the part that i dont get is how this can happen? I mean am not a driver nor i have a liesence :p but i think you just push that thinggy down there then you can control the speeed with it!!!!!!!!!!
:gap: a stupid question haaa! but what to do...i know nothing abot this! and i'd like to know...and never try :)
P,S. Mambo i dont ask god for yo to be caught with kitkats -see how nice i am :p-I just wish if yo reconsider doing this.
MamboBraziliano 12-10-02, 08:49 PM Mimosa, M & Najah,
well first of all i would like to make one thing clear! Everyone has his own freedom to do or think of anything. I am sure some of you do smoke, shall i call that suicide?!
Anyways, you guyz have the wrong idea about racing. Racing could be done in a very safetyfull environment to secure even an ECHO from having trouble. It all depends on the way you do it. Just rememeber that you are the one who controls the car, not that the car is what controls you! If you it does then you better lock yourself at home far away from the steering wheel!
How it should be done is as follows:
* Two cars on two different tracks with enogh road width for them to be apart from eachother by a safe distance.
* Start racing from rolling (20 - 30km/h) to aviod unnecessary skids or spins. This way you make sure that your car can not go out of control when you press your accelerator fully.
* make sure you dont exceed 160 km/h as the end of the race as danger increases after that speed and chances to control the car incase of external events are quite slim.
* Last but not least, make sure that you race a good driver whom you know not just anyone. Coz if the driver has weak driving skills he could get you into real trouble.
Tell me, if you follow all that, how could you get yourself killed??!!!

Quick Silver 13-10-02, 12:15 AM sounds like nascar to me...... and still I see people dying in nascar.....why would I take an echo to 160 km/hr.. that is so dumb
Mr.Verb 13-10-02, 03:28 AM does anyone talking about racing in here??
anyone wanna say someting!!??
we were born to race baby, so buckle up and show me whatcha got:cool:
Mambo,
Crap. On a track, fine - your car and your risk, with any other participants taking responsibility for themselves.
But on a public road? Go to f****** jail!
