The Quran..
"By the star when it goes down- Your companion is neither astray nor being misled, nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him; He was taught by One Mighty in Power"[Quran 53:1-6]
What other proof greater than this can there be?
Apart from this verse, there are several ahadeeth which I shall post soon..as you might well know, every detail of our prophet's private and public life, of his actions and utterances, has been accurately documented and recorded and faithfully preserved to our very day...

3rd
he (PBUH&HF) was known not to be lyer to the level that people who were living at his time were believing him in whatever he says
4th
can u disprove that it wasn't from ALLAH ??!! ;)
mr. pinnochio,
u nat a proof that prophet mohammed was talking to god and gabriel or hearing them...
well the best prooof is what i am giving in my post of " believe it it is there in the holy quraan" which shows that prophet mohammed is unable to know all of those scientific facts which are discovered in this centuries after 1400 yrs.. so that means he getting words from allah ...
and that is teh prooof.
well done bimmi and enjoy ur death..

mr pinnochio
since it is written in Quran we believe it.other wise who believe he went from saudi arabi to palastine and came back in few minutes or so.who believe there is hell or heaven.
what ever is there in quran we believe it and we have no problem about that and why should we go searching for who was the witness or no,jumping like monkey from here to there.if there are witness or no we r not going to leave what it came in quran, may be the witness is satan himself.who knows.
as i said and i will keep saying since it is in quran it is right and we believe it.what come through Khamees and Rashid,it might be right and it might be wrong.we do not insist it is right and we do not insist it is wrong unless the 7 secs have dicided it is right or wrong.if the 7 secs say it is right,it is right and if they say it is wrong it is wrong but if some say it is right and the other say it is wrong, here we can not insist if it is right or wrong.

mr pinnochio
u make me laughing too much.
any way if u want the answer to be yes,it is yes and if u want the answer to be no,it is no.
according to me if it is yes or no,it does not make any difference,so what you want the answer to be.

mr pinnochio, did u ask the question to get answers, or do you already have an answer???
if we said, yes or if we said no, it would not make a difference to you, so why bother asking???

Well said Kamakzy.. it seems that MrPinno is aiming for something..and our answers wont make any difference to him..
Anyway, to answer your Q, yes..
Alllah is the witness.. any objections?
Mr Tickle

I do not know what the answer is. I ask because there were witnesses to conversations between God and Moses and God and Jesus.
I'm not sure why this is proving so difficult or why you are all being so paranoid
I'll ask again
Was there a witness who saw or heard Allah talking to Mohammed?

would it make a difference???
when the profets (any one of them) talk to God it is not as we talk mr pinnochio, it is something different, something to do with the mind without using mouth...
i recall reading in a book that when sayidna issa (pbuh) talked to god he felt so good, it was somehting out of this world... when he came back to earth and talked to someone he throw up... they asked him why... he said he just talked to God and it felt different than talking to a normal person with mouth
so if how do u expect to hear the conversation, God is not human, he does not talk like us...

how come God was HEARD talking to Jesus and Moses?
From Mt. Sinai God spoke to Moses and all the Children of Israel. They were so terrified that they asked God not to repeat it and it was on the basis of this request by the people that God said that He would send "a prophet like (Moses) from among their brothers" (Deuteronomy 18).
During the life of Jesus there were three times that God spoke openly as a second witness. The first time was when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist
"When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven. `You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased'." Luke 3:21-22.
Obviously, John and those being baptized at the same time heard this voice. The second time occurred in the presence of his three disciples - Peter, James and John. He took them up on a high mountain where he was transfigured. His clothes became dazzling. Moses and Elijah, who had each been dead for more than 900 years, appeared to Jesus. The account reads,
"Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud, `This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!'"
"Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus." Mark 9:7-8.
The third occasion is recorded by John and happened with a whole crowd of people present.
"(Jesus said), `Father glorify Your name!'
Then a voice came from heaven, `I have glorified it and will glorify it again.'
The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.
Jesus said, `This voice was for your benefit, not mine...' "
John 12:28-30.
now, did anyone witness God talking to Mohammed?

now, did anyone witness God talking to Mohammed?
Arabian Princess

Mr Pino,
if you are asking this question and you want a literal answer then:
No, no one heared the Quran being received to prophet Mohammed.
but if you want to ask after that, what prof do you have that the Quran is the word of God, then the answer is also as simple:
The Quran is a mircle in its wordings, no poet at that time was able to come with verses as beatiful as the Quran. Prophet Mohammed was not educated, he was illetrarte. His people knew that there was no way he could come with such words and this is why people believed him.
There are some events that happned after the Quran was revealed and they were predicted in the Quran. (I will try to provide the verses later)
Prophet Mohammed was known before Islam that he was not a lier. He was a very pious person.
As Fahad said, there are some scientfic facts are in the Quran. Wether you believe it or not, we do.
The Quran is the book of life. The wisdom it has does not contain a certain perioed of time when the prophet (peace be upon him) lived.
These are few evidents that the Quran is the words of Allah Almighty. You might not agree with them, but we muslims beleive in that strongly.
mr pin. u heard about people who have 10 ears cos they hear from one and take the words out from the 9 ears...
