"Welcome to Wherever You Are" is a song by rock band bon jovi from their 2005 album, have a nice day.
"Welcome To Wherever You Are"

"Welcome To Wherever You Are"

Maybe we're different, but we're still the same
We all got the blood of Eden, running through our veins
I know sometimes it's hard for you to see
You come between just who you are and who you wanna be

If you feel alone, and lost and need a friend
Remember every new beginning, is some beginning's end

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you gotta believe
That right here right now, you're exactly where you're supposed to be
Welcome, to wherever you are

When everybody's in, and you're left out
And you feel your drowning, in a shadow of a doubt
Everyones a miracle in their own way
Just listen to yourself, not what other people say

When it seems you're lost, alone and feeling down
Remember everybody's different
Just take a look around

Be who you want to, be who you are
Everyones a hero, everyones a star

When you wanna give up, and your hearts about to break
Remember that you're perfect, God makes no mistakes

nice song , full of meaning
I am going to shift from westlife band to Bon jovi band

what about listening to this song :

"Bad Medicine"

I ain't got a fever got a permanent disease
It'll take more than a doctor to prescribe a remedy
I got lots of money but it isn't what I need
Gonna take more than a shot to get this poison out of me
I got all the symptoms count 'em 1,2,3

First you need
That's what you get for falling in love
Then you bleed
You get a little but it's never enough
On your knees
That's what you get for falling in love
And now this boy's addicted cause your kiss is the drug

Your love is like bad madicine
Bad medicine is what I need
Shake it up, just like bad madicine
There ain't no doctor that can
Cure my disease

Bad, bad medicine
Bad, bad medicine

"Bad Medicine"

I don't need no needle
To be giving me a thrill
And I don't need no anesthesia
Or a nurse to bring a pill
I got a dirty down addiction
It doesn't leave a track
I got a jone for your affection
Like a monkey on my back

There ain't no paramedic
Gonna save this heart attack

When you need
That's what you get for falling in love
Then you bleed
You get a little but it's never enough
On your knees
That's what you get for falling in love
Now I'm addicted and your kiss is the drug

Your love is like bad madicine
Bad medicine is what I need
Shake it up, just like bad madicine
So let's play doctor, baby
Cure my disease

Bad, bad medicine
Bad, bad medicine

[Solo]

I need a respirator cause I'm running out of breath
You're an all night generator wrapped is stockings and a dress
When you find your medicine you take what you can get
Cause if there's something better baby well thay haven't found it yet

Your love is like bad madicine
Bad medicine is what I need
Shake it up, just like bad madicine
There ain't no doctor that can
Cure my disease

Your love is like bad madicine
Bad medicine is what I need
Shake it up, just like bad madicine
Your love's the potion that
Can cure my disease

Bad, bad medicine
Bad, bad medicine

Who Says You Can't Go Home" is a song written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora for the American rock band Bon Jovi's ninth studio album Have a Nice Day (2005). The song was produced by John Shanks, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. It was released as the second single in North America in the first quarter of 2006 and reached the top thirty on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, peaking at #23. Outside North America, "Welcome to Wherever You Are" was released as the second single with "Who Says You Can't Go Home" being released as the album's third release on June 12, 2006. The song reached #5 in the UK, becoming the band's second Top 10 single from the album. A version of the song was also shipped to country music radio, featuring duet vocals from Jennifer Nettles of the duo Sugarland.

Who Says You Can't Go Home

I spent twenty years tryin' to get out of this place
I was lookin' for somethin' I couldn't replace
I was runnin' away from the only thing I've ever known

And like a blind dog without a bone
I was a gypsy lost in the twilight zone
I hijacked a rainbow and crashed into a pot of gold

I've been there, done that, now I ain't lookin' back
And the seeds I've sown, savin' dimes
Spendin' too much time on the telephone
Who says you can't go home?

Who says you can't go home?
There's only one place that call me one of their own
Just a hometown boy, born a rollin' stone
Who says you can't go home?

Who says you can't go back?
Been all around the world and as a matter of fact
There's only one place left, I want to go
Who says you can't go home? It's alright
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright

I went as far as I could, I tried to find a new face
There isn't one of these lines that I would erase
I left a million mile of memories on that road

Every step I take, I know that I'm not alone
You take the home from the boy but not the boy from his home
These are my streets, the only life I've ever known
Who says you can't go home?

Who Says You Can't Go Home

Who says you can't go home?
There's only one place that call me one of their own
Just a hometown boy, born a rollin' stone
Who says you can't go home?

Who says you can't go back?
Been all around the world and as a matter of fact
There's only one place left, I want to go
Who says you can't go home?

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It's alright, who says you can't go home?
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It's alright, who says you can't go home?

I've been there, done that, now I ain't lookin' back
It's been a long, long road, feels like I've never left
That's how the story goes

It doesn't matter where you are, doesn't matter where you go
If it's a million miles away or just a mile up the road
Take it in, take it with you when you go
Who says you can't go home?

Who says you can't go home?
There's only one place that call me one of their own
Just a hometown boy, born a rollin' stone
Who says you can't go home?

Who says you can't go back?
Been all around the world and as a matter of fact
There's only one place left, I want to go
Who says you can't go home?

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
Who says you can't go home?

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It's alright, who says you can't go home?
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It's alright, who says you can't go home?

Hey God, I'm just a little man
I got a wife and family
I almost lost my house
I bought into the dream
We're barely holdin' on and I'm in way too deep
We're two paychecks away from livin' out on the street

She's a workin' single mom
Like a saint she don't complain
She never says a word but she thinks that she's to blame
Her son just got convicted
He blew some cop away
She did her best to raise him but the world got in the way

Hey God

Hey God
Tell me what the hell is goin' on
It seems like all the good shit's gone
It keeps on gettin' harder hangin' on
But hey hey hey hey God
There's nights you know I want to scream
These days you're even harder to believe
I know how busy you must be
But hey hey hey hey God
Do you ever think about me

Born into the ghetto, 1991
Just a happy child playin' beneath the summer sun
A vacant lot's his playground
By 12 he's got a gun
The odds are bet against him
Junior don't make 21

Hey God
Tell me what the hell is goin' on
It seems like all the good shit's gone
It keeps on gettin' harder hangin' on
But hey hey hey hey God
There's nights you know I want to scream
These days you're even harder to believe
I know how busy you must be
But hey hey hey hey God
Do you ever think about me

I get down on my knees
I'm gonna try this thing your way
I seen a dyin' man to proud to beg
Spit on his own grave
Was he too gone to save
Or did you even know his name
Are you the one to blame
I got something to say

Hey God
Tell me what the hell is goin' on
It seems like all the good shit's gone
It keeps on gettin' harder hangin' on
But hey hey hey hey God
There's nights you know I want to scream
These days you're even harder to believe
I know how busy you must be
But hey hey hey hey God
Do you ever think about me

Do you ever think about me

The only song I've ever listened to from these guys is It's My Life.
It was HUGE back in the day.

Epic song!

Actually, it's one of these songs that you don't get sick of.

I was never a big fan of their music for some reason, just a few songs here and there from the 80's and mid 90's, but I didn't hear anything really good from then in a long while now, their last two albums weren't very good if you ask me.

^ Just because I don't like Bon-Jovi doesn't mean I don't have good taste in music. Madonna sold over 250 million records worldwide, but does everyone here like her music? Nope. Does that mean they have bad taste? Nope.

It's just a personal taste, that's all, their style doesn't appeal to me and I don't particularly enjoy his voice.

Does being no.1 in the US for many many weeks mean it's a good song\album?.. No. Tastes differ. Full stop.

@Romantic: everyone tastes differ. Bon Jovi new albums aint like his older albums. his older albums was good.... but i wouldn't term Bon Jovi as the best Rock singer... i mean come on what about Jim Morrison, Steven Tyler, Axl Rose, Robert Plant, Freddy Mercury, Eddie Vedder, James Hetfield and Roger Daltrey.
