We have so far discussed two Hadeeths from Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Click here (http://www.englishsabla.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=6253) to view the FIRST one, and Here is the Second one (http://www.englishsabla.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=6559)
Its time to proceed to the Third...
"Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himslef in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and recieve the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by offering the prayers in the mornings, afternoons and during the last hours of the nights." [From Saheeh AlBukhari, The Book of Faith, Chapter 26]
so, lets share together our thoughts and reflections about this Hadeeth..

Thanx Bimmy for this Hadith.
This hadith gives an answer to people who always try to harden religion. Many people think that the more they make religion difficult, the more they are closer to ALLAH. Although they are trying thier best but I dont think it is the way Islam should be. Islam should be easy on the heart and on practice.
Ofcourse this is not an excuse for people to say"oh, we should always take the easist way even if it is far from Islam" no not this what I mean. What I mean is that we should not try to make it hard to bear Islam.
I hope I am understod :)

This hadeeth reminds us about the 3 people, who came to see the Prophet PBUH.
The 1st one said I will fast forever I wont discontinue for the whole of my life.
The 2nd one said I will pray the whole nights (Qyam Allayl) and wont discontinue for whole of my life.
3rd one said I wont get married forever.
When our Prophet PBUH met them and said You r the people who said so and so,
I fast and break, and pray and rest, and mary women
and whoever does difrrent from what I do he is not of me.

The reason why I chose to post this hadeeth is that I think it is very relevant these days, as I feel that people are making religion seem difficult by concentrating on small details..ofcourse, islam is a complete way of life, and we cant exclude some parts and follow other parts..yet, there are things that we should pay more attention to..we cant, for example, pray sunna(optional prayers) if in the first place we dont pray the fareetha (obligatory prayers)..
There are people who dont listen to musice, but you find them slabbing, lieing and backbiting..
The prophet also says "recieve the good tidings"..thats is, we know from the Quran that Allah is Merciful and that He forgives our sins and accepts our repentance when it is sincere..so, we should always have hope in Allah's mercy and forgiveness...
Read the folloing verse from suret Al-Shoora..
" He is the One that accepts repentance from His servants and forgives sins: And He knows all that you do" [42:25]
Wahetever the sin, Allahs mercy is open to SINCERE repetnance, at all times untill the moment of death approaches..
This doesnt mean, however, that we can commit sins , hoping that Alah will forgive us..no, we should try our best to abide by the Quran and Sunna to the utmost of our ability but not overburden ourselves..

Another verse that came to mind is the following one from Suret Alqassas..
"And seek by means of what Allah has given you the future abode, and do not neglect your portion of this world, and do good (to others) as Allah has done good to you, and do not seek to make mischief in the land, surely Allah does not love the mischief-makers"[28:77]
This verse is somewhat related to teh Hadeeth mentioned by AbuSuleiman..
