why does it say IP Logged next to all of our posts?

whenever u post in the sabalah ut IP is loged in, so i can check it and get u into trouble if u misbehave or something like that!

if u log from a different computer it will have the IP assigned to that computer on that particular day and if u misbehave the owner of that telephone line will have a wiping!

is the ip connected with the computer or the internet provider?

the bulletin was created by Saeed Al-Rashdi.

and the IP is what omantel assigns to u whenever u log on to the internet, so it is connected with the internet and not the computer.

u can log on to the internet 100 times from the same computer but never have the same IP address!

but i had something to say.. hey kam to find the ip and see what the other people are doing theres nothin better then hacking.. :) its quite easy to do that but if you make any dumb mistake haking your pc will be damaged.. ;)

Sorry for intruding guys ... got somehting to say .... there is a new software called NioTrace that gives you the exact location of the internet user ... i just thought that you all should know that! tracing someone is no big deal once you have the ip ... just type in the digits in NioTrace and Wallaaa you get his location ... Aint technology cool!!!!! :)

in the same time, i can send the IP address to OmanTel with the time it was logged in then get the phone number of the place the user logged from and bam we caught the guy!

i know you can get the city, town,village and country;i havent heard of getting the exact street address but if you hook up with gps system u can no probs im sure. maps of oman are not on the gps system yet so they can only get your longitude and latitude which i spose is as accurate to your location as u'r gonna get.

well from the IP ADDRESS you can find anyone..
and you can hack any pc wich means you can find the email address on the user hes password and where ever that persons gose. i mean sights what is he doing at the moment.. but yu have to know exactlly the place to hack and trust me it aint a joke.. but i can do that if anyone is oneline.. and plus you can get all hes psswards for eveythig not only for the guy online but fo every person whos using the same PC..

but i only use to do that to a freind of mine just t see how it works and ofcource se knew i was doing that..

proxy hmmm this is what i rememmber, is that it is used when u want to have a couple of computers which is in a network work togather, and to connect to the internet!

PROXY: is usually used in company's govement offices.. it is something like a protecter... if you have a LAN (LOCAL AREA NETWORK) then you should have PROXY to avoide any out side users to access your data and files.. its something like a blokker.. which is suppose to prevent anyone out side of the LAN to access those files and documents..

A proxy server is a security barrier between your internal network (intranet) and external networks (internet) preventing other people invading confidential documents on your network/pc/lan/wan etc etc ... from the internet

So for example there is a way to view websites in private away from prying eyes but omantel have blocked these sites . Why i dunno? But now they can invade your pc, get your credit card information, steal documents, infect your pc do anything IF they wanted to. But since that would be illegal they should not do that so why have they banned proxy server sites in the first place?? Sites such as
silentsurf.com
idzap.com (recently banned)
but i still have a few more ip proxy sites under my sleeves hehehehe! And no i wont tell you them ! cuz the more they are used the faster omantel will track them down and block them.

To find out your own ip type this in
start menu ---> run box :
winipcfg.exe
in case u want to setup a server or something. or if someone says they have your ip and are kidding u can prove them wrong. silly stuff like that

when u run that it asks me if i want to release it....what does that mean?

ok..again, i'm no guru in this...but is there no way for privacy? forget about rights & wrongs...how can an organisation for example protect itself from such hackers? don't tell me they use another software to somehow "shield" their...their???....i donno their what...but whatever they r trying to protect !
