View Full Version : Scotland,
Salami to all of you,,,
I arrived home this afternoon after spending eight nights in Scotland. For those of you who spend part o f their summer holiday in London, you are missing a lot by not making the effort to visit the highland. Scotland is full of historical places, its landscape is breathtaking, and the people are friendly and easygoing. Cities are great but don't spend all your time walking in busy streets. You need to visit little towns especially seaside villages. I spent some nights in a little place called 'Scoraig' in the north western corner of Scotland, I got invited for a party by the locals and it was brilliant. I'll get my film processed in the next few days and post some photos here for members to see.

There is a bit of miss understanding AP. I am not yet in Oman, home meant to be the house I rent in England. I am going to other countries in the next few days so I cant be very active here.
Fahad, thats right, my contribution to Sabla is very little nowadays due to a busy life and other circumstances. Back to the heat, I missed out last summer and I don?t know whether I want to come back at this time of year, I might just wait until August.
Arabian Princess 30-06-02, 07:56 PM opps, so aha ur home is now England ha .. anna wuba3adni :)
its ok, I just thought you would come around this time back to Oman.
So still waiting for those photos to be developed.. I have been to scotland before and it is reallly beatufil. especially the castels there !

Welcome back to the sabla nzwani! I do not know you as a member, as when I registered in December you were not anymore here, but your nick was many time praised and I understood that your posts were very constructive. So it is nice to see you here again.
I have tried to downloaded your site, but it took me close to 10 minutes for 2 pictures only :(, so I don't know how long it will take for more. However, it is just beautiful to see that healthy green landscape! Was that white house any special place in particular?.
(ps: I loved your choice of white rose backgound in the site :) )
Miss Naughty 04-07-02, 04:32 AM v.v.v.v. nice pictures..

Shahrazad 04-07-02, 01:13 PM oh yes indeed, Scotland is one of the best places I have ever been to..
The highlands in winter are breath taking, specially when seeing huge mountains covered in white snow!
I liked Edinburgh alot, specially it's shopping street, where on one side you see shops and malls, and the other side the view is green mountains and castles. Amazing!
why don't u advertize about your home city nizwa instead of scotland ?
Salami to all of you,,
X-press,
Sorry to have kept you 10 minutes waiting for two pics to appear. I tried to upload many more pictures today and allocate one pic per page for a faster download. Unfortunately, the system crashed and I have no time to do the same process again but insha allah I'll do so in the near future. My friend's parents own that white house and its where I stayed for a week or so while there.
Miss Naughty,
The weather there was amazing indeed, btw I took the pictures so there is no way to find me hiding . There are some photos of mine but I don't think I'll include them :).
Silent T,
Thanks for sharing your experiance with us.
Ice-Tea,
because it doesnt need advertisment
;)
Salami to nzwani,
Why dont you upload them over teh sabla..
just by where you post your topics or posts. you find a button called Attach file, where you have to click on browser. and upload them files :)

Well Ice Tea, If you are serious about your intention then I don't think you gonna face lots of problems because Nizwa is one of few Omani towns with reasonable amount of books, websites and other materials published about them. Just to remind everybody, I started a topic (probably 14 months ago) here in Sabla about Oman's beautiful places and the first one I talked about was Nizwa. I think you might need to search my old topics and insha allah you gonna find it. However, this topic is dedicated to the places I am visiting this summer. By the way, I am off to Germany tomorrow (Tuesday) and insha allah I'll try to post some pictures of it as well.
Thanks
abu Suleiman 09-07-02, 04:55 PM Hi Nazwani,
Good to hear that u r enjoing your life.
I liked A/p when she said ana w baadny أنا و بعدني
I ask u bro nazwani have u visited the lake where scotish people think that a monoster has appeared sometime in it?
I think that lake called lokh.
I have been ther for once in june 2000.
Shahrazad 09-07-02, 10:43 PM abu Suleiman, I have been to the lake 'Loch' you mentioned..
It's amazing, the fake monster they believe in is called 'the Loch ness'. The whole place sounds like a fairy tale, there are water falls and big huge forests. Wonderful :) !!
abu Suleiman 09-07-02, 10:56 PM well silent tunes did u see also the 24 hrs camera that they put to photo the monstre in case arise again.
Shahrazad 09-07-02, 11:17 PM Really ?? :D .. I didn't notice the camera! Sounds very funny though :D
