Mazda 6 comes in four engines 2.0 , 2.3, 2.6 H6, 3.0 H6

Hmmmm.....nice styling.....but if you want something small, stylish and Japanese, but much faster, much sexier and available nor for about OR 4,000, then I would have to go for one of these :)

But am not a fan of Mazda..
some say it gets old fast...(ages) here in gulf atmosphere....the first stricking thing i noticed in all Mazda cars that its paint...it is not stable and good!...get scratched fast and removed!...I wonder why!

well Mazda surely suprised us this time...i think if i am not mistaken that have seen this car in my neighbourhood at first i thought it was a Lexus from the back..but the when i was closer i noticed that it was a mazda..it is good that they changed the look and i expect to see more of them on the roads..does anyone know about thier prices?

well Mazda are excellent cars. I dont know much about this paint stuff, but i am sure it was a problem with the earlier models but not with the recent ones for sure. I have many friends who won Mazda cars and they all claim good reability and long lasting engines.

The remarkable thing about Mazda is their power and engine perfomance. THey have pretty high torque on lower RPM which pulls the car really smooth on llow speeds and kicks asses on high speeds coz if their high horsepower. I have seen standard Mazdas' do magic infront of my own eyes.

The Mazda 6 is a great addition coz of many things,
1- It has an H engine which is used by Ferrarie, Porsche, and most of the top cars.
2- A very unique suspention, you dont see jumpines nowhere. The suspension is in a form of an inverted V shape.
3- Full alloy engine that reduces the car's weight and gives extreme smoothness.
4- Very attractive interior whcih is even much far better than the exterior looks.
5- Amazing engines:

2.0 : 140 BHP @6000 RPM, 167 lb ft torque
2.3 : 160 BHP @6000 RPM, 175 lb ft torque
2.6 : 182 BHP @6000 RPM, 192 lb ft torque
3.0 : 220 BHP @6000 RPM, 245 lb ft torque

I am looking forward for the actual specifications we are gonna get here in Oman.

i must admit that Mazdas are nice cars, i had the Mazda Xera (sp) and it had featuers that of a luxury car...

looolz man. Well i think i like to write about anything that really worths writing about. Subaru are still on my top car man, but as i said CAR. Mazda is all about engines only. It smokes serious ****. A mazda 1.6 is 100% equivalent to an Impreza 2.0 AWD!! I have tried that and the impreza could only go infront on the fourth gear!

Jeeps are great cars too, you want me to post a topic? :p i guess you know more about them than i do ;)

And about Jeep I hate American cars cause most of them BLOW up a fire in an accedent eventhough I like shoruki well mostly Fords but hmmm just lo0oking at it but never own one!

about this Mazda engline, you said it is an H engine, how does that look like? got pictuers? i also recall you mentioning that Subarus have an up-side-down engine... so from your words, an H engine out proformes an up-side-down engine!!!

Up-side-down engine!!!!! There is no upside engien, actually Subaru uses H engines in all its cars and so does the Mazda 6. H engines are about Horizontally Opposed Cylender Fasion. The cylenders are places side ways and it performes horizontally unlike the normal V engines where it performs vertically. That is what makes the different between V or L (most Mazda engiens) shaped engines and H engines. H engines has a very low Mass Center whcih gives the car much better stability and smoothness.

It's not my bike (yet.....but I don't think my wzarat ad-dakheliya will let me buy another bike!). It's the 2002 Yamaha YZF1000 R1. Not quite the most powerful in its class, but definitely the most beautiful.....:)

I was just making the point that, if you want a beautiful toy then bikes are much better value than cars! :D

najah, you have your taste and i have mine as everyone has his, when we judge something we judge on basis of majority and i guess majority disagree with your opinion :p just live with it ;)

saw the car on the road looks real good...real sporty..although i still had to get close to make sure that it was not a lexus :confused:

yeah man specially the back!! But yet i find it much more compact than the lexus, the lexus looks somehow allien!! wait to see the inside of the car, then you will really love it ;)

You really need to see it in reality coz i said before, it looks much more beautiful when it come to the realy picture. However, call them and check first if they have any peice left in the showroom coz even the advances to come next month are already fully booked for customers who have paid their down payments! I think many people like it thats why!
