foriegn body in the eye like dust, hair, displaced contact lenses on the white part of the eye can easily removed by touching...
but , if the foreign body is embeded in the white part of eye or if it is on the dark part of eye(cornea) touching it will be dangerous, so how can u handle that by giving simple first aid at home ....
Well seem that nobody is interested in removing a foreign body in the eye.. but here some steps u should take:
1-don’t rub the eye
2-2- don’t touch anything which is sticking, embedded in the eye or on the cornea (coloured part of the eye)
3-ask someone to separate the eyelids gently with finger and thumb , and examin the eye part carefully.
4-If the foreign body is embedded , cver the eye with a pad and bandage and go to hospital.
5-If the forign body is on the white part: wash it out with glass or an eyebath and clean water.
6-If water is not successful, and the body is not stuck in place: lift it up with a moist swab.
7-If the foreign body is under the upper eyelid: grasp the upper eye lashes and pull the eyelid over the lower lid… or blink under water , this wll remove the body easily.

Interesting Dr.Fahad and I believe most of us don't really know what to do when it comes to first aid.
For the first case you presented, I will most probably ask someone to blow strongly into my eye. If not successful, I will use myself a coton swab or wash the eye with heavy running water to remove that foreign body.
When it comes to any incident, I feel that the most important thing is first to remain calm and not panic.
