I think that the people of the Arabian Gulf are one of the most people who have them GSM's... i see kids at the age of 12 have their own GSM... i for one would be totally lost without my GSM plus sometimes i feel the stress right when i get too many calls in one day...

so which GSM do u use? this will help me with an idea i have for the future of the Sabla :)

the ringing tones are very cool too! Nokia tones are all the same! everyone has nokia! its irritating, some times you think that your phone is ringing while its someone else’s!

Nothing beats Nokia, i mean did u ever see a GSM with the featuers of the 9210???

Once I had to do a presentation about Nokia electronics and I got the oppertunity to prove that NOkia did succed in what they are doign sicne most people use NOkia :)
I go for Nokia .. I used Errecsion, motorolla, and my hubby used ALCATEL but nothing beats Nokia !!!!!!

I have two phones. I use a Sony Ericsson T68i at work and a Nokia 8310 for my personal use. The Sony Ericsson is a nice looking phone with a cool color screen and a nice icon driven menu system, but it is frustrating as hell to use. It's too slow, especially when you type sms messages.

The Nokia 8310 isn't that great a phone either, but it's a huge improvement over the 8210 which was absolutely crap. Nokia's huge advantage is their menu system which is the best and easiest to use among all phones.

My favorite phone is the Nokia 6310i which is what I would have bought had I not been given the Sony Ericsson. I've had a 6110 and a 6210 before it and they are both excellent phones.

I bought a Samsung phone earlier this year and I hated it so much that I chucked it after just two days of use. Won't ever make that mistake again. I had a Motorola 5 or 6 years ago and while the phone was solid it wasn't exactly the easiest phone to use. I'm surprised that they still use the same menu systems even after all these years. I like their new color screen phone the 720 but decided not to buy it after reading reviews online. I think my next phone will most likely be another Nokia.

I have a Nokia 6610 is it a great phone!
The thing about the new Nokia phones is the amount of custmozation you could do - Ofcourse you can download ringtones and wallpapers, but you could also download games and applications. The Java technology embeded in the phones make it possible for new features to be added whenever you wish.
Another thing about the nokia that other phones don't have is the express-on covers, almost all of the other phones have one or two colours only and you can't change their covers (T68i has only ONE colours - all those rotating cheap ( :duh: ) looking phones have permenant covers.
The 6610 has express on covers so that you could change it to the colour that suits you and you could change the whole colour scheme of the menu of the phone to go alontg with the cover and wall paper that you use.
The only thing that I miss in the 6610 is that it doesn't support animated GIF. But I heard that there is a downloadable patch to make the phone view animations! ;)

I have the Samsung T100 and its been with me for about 9 months, I have no complains what so ever about this phone, and up to this moment I haven’t seen a phone which shows better picture quality then it, the sound is also amazing. I guess I’m the only Samsung user on this board according to the poll!

I've got a very old nokia 3210.. which is starting to fall apart..and the battery is getting really bad :gap: cant count the number of times I dropped it on the floor.. :rolleyes:

I'm saving to buy a new one.. sometime soon inshallah.. I think I'll stick to Nokia.. :lost:

It is true that Nokia is releasing too many phones in a very short period of time, but actually all the coming phones are quiet similar in features and content. Starting from the 7210 and 6610 which are already out in the market, these two phones have all the features of a next generation phone - coloured screen, polyphonic ringtones, preferable external camera, sends are recieves photos and everything that you can think of. All the coming nokia phones will just have a different cover and possibly an internal camera or a blue tooth connection which both won't actually make your phone really out dated as you can get a camera connected to your phone and blue tooth is not very widely used yet.

Nokia good points:

1) menu (easy to use)
2) featuers (games, schedual, organizer)
3) variaty (suits your needs and your poket)

why go for other brands?

Nokia is the best. I bought nokia 3510i when it was 1st released here in Oman after using 3310 for 2 yrs. I suffered alot from its battery but this one I've got now is just GREAT. I charge it every 3 to 4 days while i used to charge my old one more than once a day!!

My dad used Ericson for over 3 yrs, but lately changed to Nokia. My mom used Siemens and lately changed to Nokia as well. My brothers use nokia :)
