Can we kill dogs?

can we kill the street dogs or no?do not u think they r dangers?and if we want to kill them how do we kill them.i was told police men in Oman kill these dogs but they stop now coz many of the policemen who used to kill the dogs they die coz the dogs r ghosts.
in Yemen people kill dogs by putting poison in the meat and they keep the meet in the streets.

first, those dogs are killed not because of any religious needs .. they are killed because they carry rabies in them and they hurt civillians. The police men die because these dogs attack the police men. I remmbver once close to our home there were 60 smthing dogs and when the police men went to kill them they had only 62 bulltes and after the bullets finished the dogs started attacking the policemen and one of them died. (I heared this story not sure if it is true or not)

Just one comment to make, there are things in Islam that are much mroe important than lizards, dogs, cats and and and .. why members are concetrating on these topics instead of exploring the other spiritual and social aspects of islam!!

I agree with Arabian Princess. While there are always interesting odd tidbits about any religion, the spiritual and social aspects are the most important.

Much of the rest is often old superstitions.

I strongly agree with Arabo that we need some spiritual topics instead of asking about things that are very clearly.
