Do the Arab Countires recognize people with skills?

Zain Al Deen Zidan, Prince Naseem both are Arab’s who have entered the world and made something out of them selves. All what they have gained, is because they were raised out side the Arab countries and had more support. Do you think that if they where in the Arabs world and had the same skills, anyone would have supported them or even noticed them?

zaidan and naseem have the nationaliy of these countries before becoming sports men .. so it is not that arab countries did not recognize thier skills.
Although I do agree with you that somehow we have not attention to sports men in arab countries ike other countries ./.

Araby, I was saying, if these people where in their countries (Arabia), would they have become what they are now?

well, i am sure that there r many many arabs that have skills in MANY activities, noty only sports, but there is no one here to support them!

for example, in the west, if u were an actor, people will treat u like a king and u will have alot of money and u will also have fans, where as here in Oman if someone sees an actor in the street, they laugh at him and mock him on some charicter that he played!

the mentality is TOTALY deferent!

bringing u down is what they r best in doing! u play a full season of football and either u win or lose in the final, what will u get? (financially)? almost mothing at all, u go to all those training sessions after LEAVING UR ORIGINAL WORK PLACE, and train there and have almost no time to sit with ur family!!!! ...... they dont think about that!

i wanted to write only a sentance or a two but i ended up writing a book! lol

anyhow,
the answer to the question is : Yes, there r many talented arabs but no one in the arab place notice or support them!" i beleive that arabs underestimate them selves!"

Hey M333 i guess u figured it out..and it is a shame that they are regected or totally ignored...that is why the go to other countries to earn thier living and do what they do best

Hey! Don’t talk about Omani actors, most of the do really suck big time! Some of them are ok, and im sure if they got the right training, they would make good actors, bass another problem is the way they look “not very pleasant” no offence.

I still think that if these people where still in the Arab countries, we wouldnt have heard of them at all.

They might be recognized, but they will not get the proper financial support which they deserve.

I was looking into the old topics in the sport sabla and noticed this one ,,

Zidan & Hamid are two out of many arabs ,,

We have so many representing France in copetitions and they are from North African countries orginally .


I don't think they would be as they are now if they were here in arab countries ,,

It's not the financial benfit they get afterwood ,,but it's they training they get b4hand ,,They won't even be as good they they are .

Have a look at the Europian national teams ,,you will find many players with african origin ,not arab in particular but different origins .

The majority of those players,spent the most of thier life there ,,in the country they r represnting ,,so they ve got better training and so better performance .

I mean dont know why our creatice people loss their faith in doing it so fast!

A very good example here is Boy-Interrupted! when he is so creative mashallla but the idea that am an omani living in oman i wont progress is sticking in his head!
Well he improved by peoples support walhamdulila :D

But again less confident and faith is depressing...

I find many good names in some sports that are proggressing specially in UAE the girl Adhaba Al-tayer-Nasreen- who is a good horse rider that went into many known champions!! She is Egyption with an Emerati Nationality and did good and her name is well known! If she continued she might step a goood move!
