Will you convert to become Muslim ??

Hi guys
Lets assume you were born with non Muslim family and you happened to be in any non Muslim country such as US, UK, JAPAN, MALAWI or AUSTRALIA, and all what you know about MUSLIMS is what you hear from the media. Will you convert to Islam?
If YES Why?
If NO. Why?

I know same will say Yes cause they are Muslims already, so please think carefully before you answer.

That’s not an easy Question Nokia, I don’t think I would convert if what I know about Islam is what I see on the Western media! Unless I read books and talk to Muslims. And see how they treat each other and how they talk, their manners etc. Id never convert just via watching the media, and it really depends on what religion I would be following which makes me think if it’s the right one for me or not.

if all i know about islam, is wat i hear in the media, then Definately not am i going to convert. Western Media, surely dont give a good impression of Islam, i mean, according to them, islam, is vengence and violence, unjust and harsh to women, and VERY unpeaceful.

come to think of it, who would convert to islam, through wat they know from the media? maybe violent people who are lookin for a justification for acts of violence that they love to commit.

I beleive it is hard to answer such a uestion when you have a strng beleive in ISlam!

I always ask myself this question and think 'Oh definitly I would convert' I guess this arises from the strong belief of us having the right & final religion.
But I come back and say: 'wouldn't I think the religion I am in is the right one and would fight for it'.

I guess if I was to read and mix with real muslims and understood the reasons behind the haram and halal, then I would convert.

These ideas come to me, when I think of the world all following the real islam(excluding sects) following one book, believing in one God. How happy and peaceful life will be!
