"Noor" house in Turkey

i cant believe I forgot the name of the house! :angry:

anyway here are pics from the house that hosted the Turkish Series "Noor", it is located in the Asian side of Istanbul

I'm not a fan of the series and have not watched a single episode from it, but I must admit, i LOVED the architecture of the house ...

According to the tour guide:
- Original owner of the house is an old Muslim merchant.
- Wealthy Khalijis offered Millions of euros to buy the house after the big hit of "Noor" series.
- in the Summer, around 90% of the visitors were arabs. (reached 1,500 Khaliji visitors per day)
- Turkish people use the house for wedding ceremonies (the tour guide was to have her wedding there)
- All the furniture in the house is for sale.

This thread isnt about the show but about this house that hosted the show. I'm big Anti-Noor fan :dev:

it's considered a touristic place even before the show and the Director choose it to film the series ...

I felt it's the perfect combination of a luxurious and a cosy home.

Sting ask your cousins how Turkey is and believe me YOU would want to go there even if you hate the show ;)

I have been there my friend during 2008 summer. But unlike someone, I didn't go for the show but for the history, culture, nature and beautiful women :p

Some rooms are nice but others are just too old and have an outdated design (omg the kitchen is too UGLY!).. lol :p Nice pool and sea view though!
