I have this doubt? is waxing of the legs and hands forbidden in Islam?
I see many religious women do it, yet i hear some people contradicting it.
If its not allowed, there must be some good reason behind it, right?
since we are on the same ground how about shaping of the eyebrows? is it allowed?
is there any hadiths or ayahs related to the above?

waxing hands and legs it snot 7aram but eye brows its 7aram and i read the hadith but what i dont understand under what basis its 7aram ???
waxing hands and legs its sooo painfull so the eyebrows??
is there any reasons to be forbiden????
am just curious, i remember taking that hadith when i was in high school and i remeber the teacher was saying its 7aram coz u r hurting ur body for nothing plus women used to remove the eyebrows to replace it with tatos which is worse but nowdays isnt not liek that ? so why its 7aram??!!!

Well precious .. it is only because it is painful .. it is changing the whole face ..
look at girls who pick thier eybrows and girls who dont .. they definatly look pretteir!! and it changes her look .. and ofcourse since the face is something that everyone is allowed to do you should not make your self so pretty
I hope u understod what I am trying to say ! :)

Precious,
Make up is something unnatural and it also changes your face .. I cannot give a fatwa here coz am not eligibale to do .. but at the same time you know that a woman should not show her pretness to someone but her husband so what if she applies full makeup and goes out?!!

Dears,
If a lady is married so insont haram to make up her self to be beautiful for her husband, either removing hands and legs hair, wearing gold, wearing perfume or puting some color on her face but to make sure that the face make up is not mixed with any products of pigs, and not to go out with all above unless she is covering her body as its mentioned in Islam.
And also not go out while she is wearing perfume.
And regarding removing eyebrows or making them thin please read.: 974_

I can't imagine any good muslim ever getting a "Brazilian" wax.
That's just.... wrong.

I've resigned myself to being covered with soft, downey fur. And it looks silly if one's back is smooth, while one's bottom is fuzzy.
I did discover that by using my beard trimmer to shorten my chest hair, I can get a better tan there.
