We are looking for a house of four or five bedrooms anywhere in Muscat, one floor or two, old or new, it doesn't matter.

We are willing to pay around O.R. 65,000.

We did same search two mounths back, and they were demanding 80 ks and plus!! We did look in gala area though, i think hayel or kodh can offer less price.. Good luck..

65,000 in Muscat seems tough, even nowadays. Only possible in Ameraat side, or you buy a small and old one.

In Ansab Hightes, you could get a land for 80K !
And I believe lands are supposed to be much cheaper than houses :P
