let me just clear out, that there are like a 100 more beautiful pictures, but i choose those to share , the Old ottoman capital is a truly magical place :sunsmile::angel:



here is the last palace owned by the ottomans: and you can see the european touches in it
(they asked us to take off our shoes since we will be walking on the original carpets)

Awesome shots. Yeah, all the houses on the islands are amazing! They are mainly summer houses. :p

I like istanboul very much, i belive its the city where you can see the easter and western culture in one city, you have the old Souq and the downtown area , the culture is so mixed up which makes it a perfect tourist destination ......not to mention the beautifull bosphorous (spell?) channel...i just loved it when i was there

Ah the magical land of Istanbul! :) Superb shots Amarant. I like! You've taken pictures of all kinds it seems. Nature, monuments, palaces. Nice, and keep sharing :)

beautiful pictures mashallah, indeed Istanbul is a beautiful place to visit. i have visited during eid holidays and we really had a grea8 time and views:).

istanbul worths a vacation on its own, such an amazing place

too bad i didnt have my SLR camera back then, but i made the most out of this point-and-shoot one ;)

will open another thread about the house in Istanbul which Arabs were fighting over :p
