Al-Imran (3:55)
And (remember) when Allāh said: "O 'Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Iesa (Jesus) is Allāh's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allāh) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allāh, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad SAW, 'Iesa (Jesus), Mūsa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurāt (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur'ān] till the Day of Resurrection[]. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute."

This has always crossed my mind, so thought of asking you guys this Qs:
If Allah said he would, does that mean he has? Was Iesa resurrected or has he still yet to be??
What about Armageddon? How is he really coming back to fight the evil?

The History Channel had a week long series regarding Armageddon. It kind of depressed me. I know Jesus will return, it's been fortold and what I find amazing in a good way is that Islam tells of this also. It binds us together.

Muslims have different opinions about this.
The majority believes that he will come back, and in this majority, there are groups that have different stories!
Some believe that he wont be back.
The Holy Quraan, however, doesn't have a say regarding Prophet Jesus coming back or not!

Sorry I failed to make my point.

Anyhow, regarding Jesus coming back or not. I believe that we should go back to our prophet's sayings "Ahadeeth".And as you said, it has been interpreted differently by the various Muslim scholars.
