What Islam taught its followers is to co-operate anc collaborate as a one body and not to be indipendent....

People are not perfect in their nature, nor in thei needs and requirements... therefore Islam has ordered us to help each other, ask about each other, visit each other... defend the prejudiced and be in his side...
I've seen a case here in UK where a young guy was beaten up but noone had moved to help or stop and the guy got badly injured.. this is not what Islam taught us.. Islam requires us to help the prejudiced and not to say" oh it's non of my business"..No wait.. oneday you might be in the same position through which you'll need help ...
Islam rejects interest when lending money... ? this implies that each of us should lend his/her friend, or whoever is whatever they want in order for them to cover their needs in cases where they face difficulties... unfortunately interest makes the situation much more harder for the borrower if it is to be applied... Islam taught us that whatever we owe is not of our belonging, it is all from our God, therefore we should help others when they need to borrow without advancing them with a list of offers of loans and their interests!...

The prophit Muhammed (PBUH) said according to his words, that a muslim in other muslim's eyes as a building, each is assisted by the other, if any of its components failed, the whole body will then feel the pain"...

In psychology, this is termed "by-stander apathy", where people might see a person being mureder or beaten up, but wouldn't care to rescue or do something..

I can vividly remember seeing a dead body over a staircase outside an apartment complex in Englad about six years ago..I bet it had been there for hours, but no one cared to do anything about it..
