Salams:
Recently am having problems with my left foot, especially when driving, I just get those painful cramps, its fine when it happens to my left foot" though it really hurts", but sometimes it dose occur to my right foot, too. Like for example today, on my way back home, I got this sever cramp in my right foot all the way to my knee, and I couldn’t either decelerate or accelerate the car speed, simply couldn’t move my foot. Anything regarding this??!.

yeah u r right, but let me get any opinion from drs here, and than i shall go for a doctor...
Maybe it's a reflection of stress.
Why not have a sister or girlfriend give you a thorough foot massage and see if that helps?
Salamat, I hope nothing serious.
It wont hurt to pay a visit to a doc

^ thanks dear, inshALLAH, if it really get worse i will def go... The problem is that it comes n goes, and its for a short period of time, 1 min to 2 mins only..
Are you pregnant? :hyper:
You probably have a vitamin/mineral deficiancy. Take some multi-vitamins and mineral tablets.. they'll help alot. Magnesium, potassium and calcium especially.
To ease the cramp, pull your toes upwards towards your knees.. like try to touch the front of your leg with your toes.
You need a nice warm foot massage. Ask granma for that. I know massages but you wouldn't want one from me :D
I used to get the cramps in my feet whenever I twisted them in different ways. That was when I used to play football. Then granma told me a massage is a good way, so did that and now it doesn't happen.

Oh yea, do the massage with warm oils!
Hi Hassani,
I suggest you take Pocari Sweat often especially if you are someone who exercises regularly, and even if you don't then the weather in Oman makes you lose more salt from your body as the ladies also are usually dressed in black, that's number one
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/1d/Pocari_sweat_500ml.jpg/276px-Pocari_sweat_500ml.jpg
Number 2, if you get it very often, then get some baseline tests done, get your blood electrolytes checked as a start along with a routine complete blood count
And add bananas to your diet
Finally, that will definitely help you, but what's the cause of all this? You must see a Dr to find out

A leg cramp is caused by the prolonged involuntary, sustained muscle contraction or tightening of one or more muscles causing intense pain and the inability to use the affected muscles. Mostly those things happen because you sit a lot maybe in the office, or while driving, especially during long flights.
Try to use your leg muscles during the day by stretching them or standing up from your seat and doing a few simple leg and calf exercises. Running in place for 5 minutes at intermittent intervals during your work hours in front of the computer can help to reduce your chance of leg cramps.
Drink plenty of water during the day. Dehydration is another cause of leg cramps. It is recommended you drink at least 6 to 8 glasses per day to help replenish the body and to prevent dehydration.
Apply a heat or cold pack to your leg muscle to help increase circulation and relax the muscles. A warm shower or bath before bed can be another helpful method for avoiding leg cramps.
Eat plenty of foods that have a high potassium content such as bananas, which are also rich in magnesium. Electrolyte imbalance, in particular potassium deficiency, can increase your risk of leg cramps. You can also take extra potassium supplements along with your daily diet.
Alleviate or reduce the duration of pain from muscle contractions (leg cramps) by trying the following:
• Massage the cramping muscle
• Get up and walk on the leg that is cramping
• Try to stretch your leg by straightening it and flexing your foot
• Apply a heat or cold pack to the cramping muscle
