Stomach ache?!

What could be the reason(s) for stomach aches, other than periods?

I've been suffering from continues stomach aches for the past 3 days, and it hurts so badly that I can't even fast. The pain comes and goes all day and night.. It's like hard punches right into my stomach. It can't be period pains, because it's a different kind of pain. :(

I barely eat, and my stomach is already full! As for meat, I'm not exactly a fan.

could you please tell us more about this pain..

location in the abdomen: upper part, middle, lower part..

Relation to food: do u get the pain after food or during fasting..does the pain subsides with food intake.

how is ur motion: constipated, diarrhea.

in Ramadan, a common cause of acute pain might be due to acidity.

It's in the middle and side parts of the abdomen, and it happens all day and night, regardless if I'm fasting or not. I didn't fast yesterday and today, and the pain was still there. :os As for the motion, it's diarrhea. I can't eat a lot, 'cause I get full quickly, and if I try eating more my stomach hurts a lot more! :os

I'm too lazy to go through the hassle of seeing a Dr. Did that last Ramadhan, but it turned out to be a virus.. But last year it was a lot worse - puking was in the picture too. Based on that, I don't think it's that serious this time, other than really painful stomach aches. :os

Maybe it's trapped gas? My friend got it and she was really tired, she didn't eat anything but still felt that she was full, said it really hurt, then she went to the Dr and he perscribed her some sort of tablet and it all got better in two days ...

Watch your diet..I used to suffer a lot from endless stomach ache and pain and had my doctor advising me to watch what I'm eating.

I think you should go and see a doctor & he'll give you the treatment you need, instead of the Sabla doctors :os.

you are right, we cant figure out ur problem easily by online discussion, plus we cant issue u medcine. Visit a doctor, physical examination is a must before diagnosing anything...

u might have some viral infection, or minor food poisoning..... better have fluids, watch ur diet. u might take some some pain killers , hyoscine-n-butylbromide (Buscupan)

As Fahad mentioned, a physical examination is must

Apart from that, you need to get a stool test & a LFT

And if possible, ask for the following test: H Pylori serology

Eventually, I also do suggest an abdominal ultrasound

By the way, how are you doing emotionally?

Maybe you get withdrawal symptoms when you stop eating fast food.
