Islamic Lecturers in Oman

WElL hi people..
I need this thread,, Cause i have a question,I remmember here FaHaD u wrote about suq seeb shaikh and u said that he is great in lecturing?! and am really so interested to know about the nicest shuyoukh?! if u people have any good ideas?!
And if u cn please also tell me if they have a specific days or?! and all the informations?!
I couldnt open this thread i dont know why?!

Najah, I'm not in OMan, so I can't tell you much about lectures..but I remember last time I was in Oman, there used to be some lectures going on in Masjid Al-Tawba in Ghubra..

There were also frequent lectures in Sultan Qaboos Mosque...

Asalaamu alaikum,

The lectures that used to be in Masjid at-Tawba are now in the Grand Mosque. They are every other Sunday after maghreb prayer (the last one was this week, so next Sunday there will be a ladies lecture in Arabic--the following week will be in English again, in sha'Allah).

There is also a radio show that comes on every Friday eve. at 7pm and repeats on Mon. from 2-3pm.

Both the lectures and the radio show are excellent, ma sha'Allah. For the lectures, the speaker is usually Khalfan al-Esry. He also usually does the radio show.

I've heard several of Shk KHalfan''s lectures..I really like his way of presenting things..he's a great speaker..
