Sharing a bed with someone could temporarily reduce your brain power - at least if you are a man - Austrian scientists suggest.
When men spend the night with a bed mate their sleep is disturbedthis impairs their mental ability the next day.

The lack of sleep also increases a man's stress hormone levels.

According to the New Scientist study, women who share a bed fare better because they sleep more deeply.

What do you think guys??

Men do anything to get laid. Smoke cigarettes to look cool and ease social cohesion (even while knowing it hurts your body), spend tons of money getting drunk at clubs in the hopes of hooking up with someone, all sorts of useless activity just for a chance to have sex. If every man had a legal outlet for sex I can bet you cigarette and alcohol sales would go down significantly. Reproduction is the purpose of life, over millions of years nature made sex feel good so we seek it out and ensure the survival of our genes. I'm not married and have never spent the night with someone, but I can imagine it would be harder to get a good night's sleep with someone else in the bed, even if you love them, than if you were by yourself. I'm tall and like to spread out across the bed. : P

Well Tesla and Sir Isaac Newton never got married. That must mean something :p

My friends agree that maybe it's God's way of helping the man tolerate the wife's 'simple thinking' :p (OF COURSE I DISAGREE :bored:) ...but still a funny thought.

Married couples used often to have separate bedrooms.

And I know one married couple who do today, though they tend to feel defensive about it.

I'd hate sleeping alone in winter... i like to cuddle up. But come summer and this heat, I want to spread out and have the whole bed to myself.
