That is interesting. Don't know why it is so long. Love to read some history behind this person. I tried to google but nothing came up. Does this name have an English translation by chance?

Its long because they weren't sure where the body was exactly, they knew its at this spot. But, not where exactly, so they made it long as surely it covers it.

Ok I found something and highlighted what I thought was interesting:

source (http://indianmuslims.in/salalah-city-of-the-prophets/)

Prophet Umran or Imran [PBUH] was the father of Mariyam (biblical Virgin Mary) mother of the Prophet Isa [PBUH] (biblical Jesus). As per the Bible he could also be the father of the Prophet Musa [PBUH] (biblical Moses)

I need more clarification though because Mary and Moses lived in 2 different time periods.

Also interesting:

This is the grave of the Prophet Ayub (pbuh) (Job in English). The people there are very welcoming and will tell you the story of Ayub (pbuh). Even if you are not Muslim, or have any interest in the grave itself, the area surrounding the grave site gives fantastic viewpoints of the mountains and salalah city.

interesting (sorry for posting so many sources but I am a devout believer of the past prophets and if I can find tangible evidence about them means the world to me):

Source (http://www.omanwhs.gov.om/English/Frank/default.asp)

Evidence supporting the belief that Al-Ahqaf, which is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, is the land of Dhofar comes from the fact that many of the messengers, prophets from God calling for worshipping of one God, are thought to be buried in Dhofar. Including Hod and Saleh. Historical accounts confirm that the site of the prophet Ayoub’s tomb is correct, whereas the tomb of Abir bin Hod is believed to be the tomb of the son of prophet Hod, located on the Hamran plain. The tomb of prophet Omran is believed to be in the same area, as well tombs of numerous saints from different periods.

This looks like a Jewish site comfirming the burial place of Job:

A Job well done: City in Oman is
linked to stories in three scriptures

The marked a larger area (long grave) in the place expected to be his grave. I was there last year, if a man existed who was that tall, trust me, no one would be wasting time on dinosaurs :)
