View Full Version : Losing Water!
Is it normal to feel that you have to pee urgently every 30 mins to 1 hour after drinking even a little of water, juice or any liquids? Little water as in this plastic drink cups.

PS: You don’t feel very thirsty but just tired most of the time.
Q: Can we check our pee color for diabetes type 1 or 2 without doing the blood test? What is the difference between the two types?
Q: Dose sitting in one place for too long without moving your body, makes you feel like to pee more often than if you are active?
Q: Is there any chance that this can be caused by being too stressed out?

Might be urinary infection, if you feel also some itching or burning
Ask your doc to have a test
How about stress, can it be a factor in losing water?

I would let the sabla doctors help you there, but one thing for sure, if you feel you want to pee 30 seconds after drinking water, then you're leaking :help:

No burning, no itching. Also checked last month, was infection free.

No you can't, color can't help you whatsoever in diagnosing Diabetes
In short, the difference is that Type1 is Insulin dependant & the patients require injections to get their glycaemia under control. Type2 in non-Insulin dependant, patients take tablets known as OHA's (oral hypoglycaemic agents).

No under normal circumstances, but if you are sitting in an exam, front of the police or the judge in a trial, then that's a different scenario

Of course, anxiety leads to symptoms such as an urge to urinate (sometimes even defecate), sweating & having tremors et al

Get the followings tests done:
1- Urine routine
2- RFT
3- TFT
4- RBS

Thanks for the reply Hitman :)
Please excuse my ignorance but which one is worse? Type 1 or 2? And can a person who's diagnosed with diabetes get rid of it? Or he will have to take injections and tablets all his life?

the only time i was so 'urgent' with my wee was when i was pregnant....

Of course type 1 is worse, it starts at an early age, the patient needs injections daily, 2-3 times a day for the rest of his/her life
Type 2 can be initially managed only with diet & exercise & I won't say cure, but it can be fully controlled without medications
What do they stand for?
Those tests are for the function of the kidneys, thyroid & blood sugar level
Thank you for the explanation, Doctor. Very appreciated. :)
