Assalaamu aleykum, I have heard that Ibadhis say this phrase after hayya ala al-falah in the adhan. Additionally, Shias say this as well, but not Sunnis. Could anyone please confirm that Ibadhis say this and tell me any stories you know about it? Thanks a lot.

I grew up abadhi & I ever heard that. Plus, Oman is known as an abadhi state, & yet all the calls for prayers, be it on television or otherwise, have never included that phrase. Therefore, I don't think what you heard is true.

Very interesting, thank you, I guess I was mistaken. Do Ibadhis say al-salat khayrun min an-naum in the fajr adhan?

Yes ibadhi's say al salath kair-un min al noum...atleast i hear it during our fajar athan...that's a normal athan in sunni's also for fajar...

and i have never heard of anything ibadhi's say following 'hai-ya 3la fla7'

but if you are talking about whenever us as not mo'azin repeating the athan after athan, we dont say 'hai ya 3la al fla7' and 'hai ya 3la 9la' but instead 'la 7o la wala qua illa billah'...and i have known it in both ibathi and sunni sides...

correct me someone if i am wrong in any of those..

and Allah knows better...

I think you are mixed up bweteen Ibadhis and Shia Zaidis,

Shia Zaidis, mainly in Yemen, are the ones saying:
Haya Ala Khair Al-Amal
حي على خير العمل
The difference between Ibadhi Athan and Sunni Athan is that Ibadhis do not say Al-Salaat Khairun min Al-Naom in calling for Fajr Prayer, nor do Shia Zaidis say that.

Assalaamu aleykum Pygmalion, I wasn't mixed up, I had actually read in a journal article about the development of the adhan that Ibadhis say it, I guess it was wrong. I like comparative fiqh, and it seems that Ithna Ashari Shias, Zaydis, and Ibadhis have some things in common that are different from the majority of Sunnis, such as praying with their hands at their sides, the composition of the tashahhud, and not saying the tasweeb. However, I had thought hayya 3ala khayrul amal would be a part of this too, since Ibadhis retained these other unique aspects. I was under the impression (which Ibadhis might deny) that the Shiat Ali in Kufa were one group. When Ali arbitrated with Muawiya the group broke into several factions, one of which was the Khawarij. Then, some moderate Khawarij sects appeared and this is what Ibadhis are essentially from. This would explain why Shias and Ibadhis hold their hands the same way in prayer, if this is what was done in Kufa. However, this does not explain why they would not say hayya 3ala khayril amal...which Ithna Asharis say is an innovation. It also does not explain why Zaydis and Ibadhis pray taraweeh, but Ithna Asharis don't. Anyway, I think it's an interesting topic. Thanks.
