Does touching someone else's 7irz (translate?) harm you, physically or spriritually, if it was a bad 7irz?

This could sound like a silly question but I really need to know as I caught someone's 7irz without knowing it was a 7irz and the mud (or whatever stuff inside the paper) fell on my hands and made contact with my skin.

I don't know why but I felt this is more appropriate to be placed in the Islamic sabla, though please move if it's not.

isn't that Supposed to be haram in the first place?
in islam we have the "Ruqia" instead of "7irz"
and the ruqia isn't harmful because it deals with god.
but a 7irz deals with the jinn who are not allowed
to be in contact with human beings; excuse my shallow
knowledge in these issues, all i can say is just wash your
hand and be faithfull or ask a sheikh :P

Nothing can haram you or benefit you unless it is something written against you or for you by Allah.

There is a hadeeth saying this.

Once upon a time..
My uncle gave me a 7irz, told me that its going to protect me against any harm, jinn, etc. and dared me to enter a grave yard, then open the 7irz n read it on my way back. There was a huge cemetary in front of my grandfather's old house. I wore it around my neck and felt like superman! I went to the grave yard and walked around like its hyde park. On my way back, I stopped near a light and opened the 7irz and SHIZEN, it was a newspaper cutting!

The point I learnt: its all in your head. It wouldn't give you the feeling you get unless you believe it gives you that feeling.
