There might be an ever present element of competition, but I won't go as far and say all women are jealous of other women..

Well, at least I don't think I am anyway. I accept what I have and if someone else has better, then I'm happy for them. In the meantime, if that's also what I want for myself, I'd work harder to achieve it.

Jealousy is the most unproductive feeling ever. Some women can be jealous, true. But you can't generalise. Most of it is competition. And men do that too.

Men are jealous beings too. I don't know why it's always thrown on women.

How can we be categorized as women if we're not jealous :p It's our identity. :D

Actually.. in the example you gave, jealousy would be a dirty look at the guy, just to assure him that he's more manly than him.. and hell for the wife when they got home.

"It's your fault because your abaya is too tight/colourful. You should have bought one 3 sizes bigger/grey!"

oh yes.. I only mentioned abaya cause you could relate to that clothing more than a "your skirt is too short/tight/revealing" ..

dunno...i don't feel particularly jealous of any woman. i admire women who are better off than me and i try to better myself.
i only get jealous when there is unfair treatment, for example at work, when someone who can't do the job as well as i can gets favoured over me.

I get jealous, but I don't let it consume me.

I don't get that way much any longer. Younger yes...now that is wasted energy. Either you have confidence in your mate or not. Not much else to add here. And if he respects you there are no worries.

i don't mind women to men jealousy. does not affect me. but woman to wmaon jealousy really annoys me. at the end of the day i ignore those kind of women and they end up totally alone, advertising themselves on the internet or whatever.
thalia knows what i'm talking about. we had a long conversation yesterday about such people. oh well. *sighs*
