Sometimes when I go out with my mother-in-law, people think we're mother and daughter.

I've heard a lot of people say that men tend to go for women who resemble their mothers. How far do you think this is true in terms of physical looks?

Ladies: Do you look anything like your partner's mother?

Men: Do the girls you are generally attracted to resemble your mother in any way?

i noticed that some men like to have someone who'll measure up to their moms, in all aspects i suppose.

I loOk EXACTLY liek my grandmother ( Dad's mother) . He says EVerytime he looks/talks to me he sees his mother. 'But my fiance dunt even now how my grandmother looks like lol :P

My sister-in-law doesn't look like my mother, but when I'm out with her people ask if we're sisters.

My mother keeps saying that, especially when my brothers choose girls who resemble my mother in one way or the other. However, I don't always agree. Perhaps it is more likely that a personality trait that you and his mom share will attract him more than a physical trait.
