There are sounds we hear in daily basis, got used to them, share the sounds you like, dislike & maybe more that you hate.


Myself, I like the sound of water falling in the shower, sometimes I just stand there enjoying it! I like the sound of my car engine when I accelerate, the sound of my fingers on the keyboard typing fast gives a feeling :p


I created this beep once tone for my Sony Ericsson & I hate hearing it when the phone rings :bored:

Sounds of drills and construction work outside my window. Sirens blaring throughout the day. Drunken screaming and singing in the middle of the night. They're annoying, but comforting in a way. It wouldn't feel like this city without them!

I like the sound of my husband's breathing when he's asleep, the sound of his car when he switches it on, the sound when you open a soft drink can, the sound of pages turning.

My cat demanding my attention every other minute. But he keeps me company so I don't mind. Actually is reassuring. At least one little male loves me. :D

At work is always busy busy busy....with coworkers joking, asking questions...phone ringing from a veteran or Congress or a family member of a vet.....so when I get home the last thing I want to hear is the phone. I will on occasion turn the ringer off to get some well needed peace and quiet.

the sound of total silence. bliss.

the sound of my kids soft breathing when they are asleep.

the sound of their hums when they are enjoying the food i put in front of them. little mmmmm's

I love the sounds of me farting against the wall. it makes me giggle :).

Tell me about it. I am NEVER alone. I am trying to bribe my daughter to spend a month with her grandparents so I can get some solitude for a little bit....I really don't know silence unless she is asleep or I am...but I still love her...my baby sniff sniff.

For the past two weeks it's the sound of my skype phone ringing in the morning to wake me up. My alarm is not working and so I got a really good to friend to call me every morning to wake me up ^_^

i Like:

- Bro's alarm (ferry corsten - holding on)

- my car's engine start, plus gears downshift.

- me wearing the dishdasha




i hate:

- Bathroom lock

- the sound of our room fridge

I hate the sound of people complaining...lol................

LOVE the sound of laughter especially from people when you even hear them laughing no matter how much of a foul mood you are in you cannot help but join in. I have a coworker who has this kind of laugh and it gets me rollin' every single time.

I love the sound of
-my car engine when I start it or speed.
-the phone vibrating
-the sound of any sports car speeding
can't think of more!

I hate the sound of my little sister asking me something from behind my locked door. And I hate the sound of birds chirping in the morning when I just got to bed.

hmm.. love the sound of pigeons outside the window..love it! best natural alarm. it's not always loud enough to wake you from a deep sleep, but i've been waking up to it ever since i was a kid. "coo roo-c'too-coo" :p
i also love the sound of running water.

i hate the sound of bulldozer sirens, and the sound of loud screams and b!tchy laughs in the corridor.

I can live without the hard knocks on the door, the sound of leaking water and the chaotic noises from the bar downstairs on weekends. Also, the audio messages from my computer: "your virus has been updated" :bored:

However, I like the sound my phone makes when I receive a message, the sound of the air conditioner, the sound someone makes when I eat a crunchy toast (usually every morning) or a fresh crispy salad. I also like the sound of the train passing by my window and the sound of the soft wind when I open my window.

Like:
-My message ringing tone (Linkin Park - Numb [Piano, no singing, just the whole song on piano]).
-The sound of the toaster when it pops the toasted bread.
-The sound of a fan/AC.

Hate:
-The sound of HEAVY rain...i wouldn't mind "soft" rain.
-The sound of wind.
-The sound of thunder.

the AC :p i can't sleep when it's silent!

Come on, this is the best thing, usually I increase the volume when I see the notice :p

however, I just thank god i'm not a cat or any animal that's capable of hearing more than what we do... i feel i'd go crazy.

I like the sound of my phone ringing or when i get a message..ahhh..beautiful feeling. always makes me smile.

mm I didn’t like the sound of the shower tap dripping but I eventually got used to it -.- I keep forgetting to speak to the landlord about it..

The sound of crickets is such a summer sound in Aussie and NZ. You can't hear them now since it's winter, but as soon as we are on the verge of summer you can hear them chirping away SO LOUD they drown out your own thoughts sometimes :p Love it! Reminds me of cool summer breezes and the sun shining on me.

At the moment am loving the sound of the heavy pouring rain while I am indoors warm and dry, a hot water bottle tucked into my robe and fluffly monster feet slippers on my feet ^_^
