Inspired by squinty's thread "Embarrasing parents!".. I was thinking, how about everyone posts something their parents did that embarrased them very much and cannot get it off their minds.

i used to be good imitating cartoon characters, but this was by my bros and cuzns, whenever we meet new kids, they would ask me to do it,, again n again n again :bored:

My mom used to force me and my sister to wear the same dresses all the time and i really hated it.

People say I can imitate people so when they FEEL like wanting to have fun..
They call me out and tell me to imitate someone I imitate with them... :bored:

Whenever we have guests over my dad would ask me questions about my studies and asks me to talk about it to the guests, this happens especially if the guests are expatriates. I absolutely hate it.

my mom still does that, she still talks about me with her frinds like im a kid! like ( nosa ) went here n did this n bought that! id be like mom ! or of some1 asks me somthing about me, she'll answer! like u know when u were a kid n wouldnt bother answering Adults nagging questions :p ( what did u eat today? u like school? etc etc )

One thing I would never forget, I wanted to DIE. Till now whenever I remember it I feel like slapping myself.

Once, my aunts were over and my mother thought it was a nice idea to watch old videos of us. We had a good laugh :p

Anyway, while we were watching the video, all of us laughing at ourselves, there was a cute scene involving 5 year old me and 3 year old sister splashing in a turtle tub.

Looking at that scene, I felt something bad was about to happen, and I remembered there was an extremely embarrassing scene after this! I ran with all my might, shouting: NOOOOOOO! TURN AROUND! EVERYBODY TURN AROUND NOOOOW!

In the next scene, I decide to leave the turtle tub. My mother doesn’t know where I went so she continues to film my sister splashing. Then she turns around (with the cam) and finds that I took my swimsuit off.

I got to the TV and covered it, hoping that no one saw that scene! I was so embarrassed I was about to cry!

Then my aunts go: Hahaaaaaaaaaaa!! Chefnaaaaaach la t7awleeeen chefnaaaaaach! (Don’t try! We saw you!)

For the rest of the gathering, they made fun of me. I can't even explain how I felt. I hated my life.

Uhm, I can't think of anything in specific except in instances which involved that I said or did something stupid as a child and my parents would not hesitate to reiterate that "funny story" in our family gatherings. As a child, that is the end of the world especially if there is a cute little boy that you are trying to impress with your "smartness" :p lol

My Dad has put me through so many embaressing moments.

One is when I walked towards where he usually parks the car when he picks me up from school and seeing him (in beach shorts and t-shirt) and my baby brother dancing to Bob Marley "Buffalo Soldier" which was blasting on the car's stereo... I really really didn't wanna walk to the car.

But I still adore him :p

i don't know, when dad treats us like cattle in public i guess. :bored:

When my dad treats me like a 5 year old in public :bored: He would actually call me by the nick name he gave me when I was a baby! It's just too embarrassing when he puts this baby tone on. What I don't understand is that he only does this to me, not my other siblings! :no:

Last summer vacation, in Kuwait we were shopping around the outdoor shops and me and my dad (obviously) were joking around and laughing.. and so In one shop (of many) we entered.. i wanted this dress and my dad goes to the owner of the shop..

(some of you may remeber this from the cartoon arabic show "Freej")

My dad goes
" chem akhir???"
**the guys says the price**
"akhir chem???"
*says the price again**
"chem akhir??""
... and he continues that for the longest time and im in the back dying of laughter cuz the guy was confused as hell and didnt knwo what was going on :D .. im pretty sure he didnt watch that part :P
....
we left that store and entered another one
he says it again...
"chem akhir???"

"akhir chem??"
(the owner) says " akhir balash :D:D :P "
