Now Bangladesh has become American target.
They are preparing another scope goat in this sub-continent after Pakistan.
They are going to trained Bangladeshi law enforcing agency and defense personals to fight against global terrorism.
After Pakistan, why they are choosing a country where the country runs by un elected government?
Is this not ominous sign?

Braiki and Nico:

I can't find a very specific source in English, but here is a general source that indicates we are giving lots of money to South Asia incluiding Bangladesh in connection with the effort to fight terrorism. I hope that supports Mr. Shamsery enough to keep his thread open:

Mr. Shamsery, I'm not sure I find it scary. It just seems to me that there really are such people and they are a danger not just to us but to you as well:

n Bangladesh HuA renamed and work as HujI- Bangladesh. The primary objective of HujI is to establish Isalmic Hukumat in Bangladesh (Islamic Rule) and they have a close connection with Taliban. They get assistance from Osama Bin Laden and major part of funding comes to them from Laden’s IIF. According to the available report of Bangladesh CID Police of 1999, IIF has sanctioned some 0.40 Million US Dollars to HujI for recruitment and training of cadres. The strength of Huji – Bangladesh can be estimated by the fact that it provides largest number of cadre to fight in Afghanistan from outside Afghanistan.

But I don't know a lot about internal Bangladesh politics...perhaps if you give us some more information, we can understand why you think this is unsettling for your country.

Barak Obama, the first decent and noble President America will have in decades will be in power end of this year, and things will change, and world will get rid of all the crimes committed or supported by the Evil American Government.

If he doesn't get into power, then more murders and more crimes!

This is a matter of surprise to me.
I am shoked with the ignorance.
The text of the thread is my personal observation , my feelings about the American activities on our soil.
I am not against the effort of elimation of terrorism .
But what is the real intention?
Anyway, I have expressed my opinion and your choice to run or close.
Thanks.

Look on the bright side Shams.

Now the leaders and populace of Bangladesh are no longer accountable for their actions.

Everything can now be blamed on America.

No…no….not American…
Americans are paying more than others at least the Gulf people where the gas price is $1.15/gallon (in Oman), compared to $3.70+ and more in the US. The inflation is worse than many of the countries of those who complain...not to talk about the deteriorating economy and unemployment.

I am still thinking… who is the winner?!!!
