Another movie in the list.

Visually it looks really amazing, but I'm not sure how much I'm going to enjoy the silence seeing that there isn't any real dialog in the movie.

This is bound to be awesome.

The visual work is really awesome ! The robot looks just fabz.
Even if there isn't any dialog, am sure I'm gonna enjoy it.
It looks same as Rata-too-ee (that mouse) movie to me.

There are certain movies that can be enjoyed even without dialogue...
The first half and hour or so of Cast Away was completely lacking any form of dialogue, but it was still an amazing part to watch of the movie, perhaps one of the best.

I'm in doubt of the robot being as good as an actor as Tom Hanks so I'll probably watch it on DVD. Not a big fan of 'visual' movies.

One of the robots in the movie is designed by Apple's designer for all its products. It looks very iphone-y slick.

While everyone in oman is rushing to watch the will smith movie because as always these type of movies don't really appeal to the arab mentality (sci-fi + animation) I actually went in to watch this masterpiece and It was everything I expected it to be and more, what an achievement when it comes to story telling and CG animation, what a brilliant emotional and deep character pixar again came up with and it is no surprise that this is one of the years most highly acclaimed movies from both critics and users.

I'm watching it again without a doubt.

This is first cartoon/disney movie in the history got over 8.9 .. which it got 9.3 in IMDB.

hmmm..well from the previews....*sniff* the story is so sad. That poor robot is all alone in the world :( I just want to hug it.
He's a damn cute robot though. I love his big eyes and cute voice...:p
It's a good thing that a lady robot comes into his life and makes all his dreams come true....:P :P

Children might enjoy it, but the real joy and beauty of the movie will be lost on them. There is beauty in this movie that I never thought could be experienced in animation. And then there are the references, especially to Kubrick's 2001, which are all over the movie which really add to the experience.

Don't assume that! You will be surprised if you come to watch the movie.
