( moderator I know this is for religion sablah but I think this is general Issue ).

Normally people should go to mosque and read quran in this month !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats true but only during the day ?????( if not sleeping )

So what we do during the night ,,, ok these things
1-Playing football
2-Playing cards or Domenose or Kiram ...etc
3-Going to smoke shisha ( I stopped it )
4-Racing with our cars ( on SQU road )
5-Going to Mules and shops and Cafe's ( mostly to see girls or girls see boys ).;)
and many things for wasting time????????


Dears ( I am included in some of this ) We almost love this month because it's holy month but we also love it because many reasons I mentioned before and some I didn't mentioned.

In my openion we are doing big mistake and we should change this habbit.

So you people do you think that it's good to do such things.

i agree with u that we love this holy month but Y do we love it?

It is a month where we can ask for forgiveness from Allah
and be better Muslims,by reading more Quran and for men Praying ALL the prayers at the mosque...

In the evening what could be done...?!!
Well how about being with the family, plan an evening out instead of a night out smoking shisha...

Doing sports is a good one...but not all ppl will go for that!
Racing with ur cars is a stupid one sara7a just putting ur lives in danger for no reason!!!

it is true that there is not much to do in the evening when u come to think of it..but i am sure with all the members of the Sablah we can come up with things to do...

I was supporting football ( but I feel embarasing from our national team ,,, see my topic in sport sablah ).

and the sport which is less dangerous ( chess ) I already play it and good at it,but sometimes it's boring,especially when I loose. :D

At least with car sport our rally racers ar one of the best in the area.


By the way what do you think people if our goverment made a freedom place for car drivers to make races.( Don't tell me about oman rally race yard ,because that place is only to use the cars avilable there )we want to use our cars.

well in this topic you have talked about two things .. first about the things that people do in ramdhan and about var racings ..
well about ramdhan .. people thign ramdhan in another way .. they thing its the month to watch TV, play card, gather woth friends .. well there are no harm to gather with friends but tot alk about serious topics not to stay and make jokes and laugh till the morning and forget that you have to pray and worship AllAH.
if everyone started with himself and his family these thigns will disapear by time ..
about car racing, I totaly agree with 4_ever_younge about everythign she said. It is just putting your life and other lifes in danger. I know guys try to pursade themselves that its because they love cars but that not true.. soem even say that car racing teach you to control the car more.. yah after what? after having some few accident.. and breaking the car .. its better to donate the money you are using to repair teh car to the poor isnt it ???
I heared taht whoever die while he was speeding or racing a car is considered sucide ( in religion ) inti7ar !!!

Why we don't ask for a place where can these things be allowed( not in rmadhan I mean ). ;)

Know you guys : I wrote this topic to say that we ( I always include my self ) ,,,we are doing wrong thing in ramadhan ,and we want to change these things ,so every one has to begin it by hemself 1st and advice friends to change these habits. :)


My goal from this topic was only to make our self ready for this ramadhan and make it different than the others. :)

We are using this month in the wrong way( I included my self by saying we ).
