I agree about the design - I can't really understand it! But from what I can understand it looks like it's going to be something pretty different!!!

I just hope this doesn't change the Yeti area too much... it's got the most beautiful coast I've ever seen in my life, and I'd hate for it to be destroyed by this..

I just took a look at the actual website... this is something they wrote about the Qurm Gardens project:

"The gallery’s elevation consists of a structural framework rhythmically modulated by various infill elements. A glass façade articulates the commercial gallery and is interrupted by triple-height portals signaling the entrances to the gallery."

Who writes this? It looks like it was really awkwardly translated from another language :os

I went to the land of this project, it's too small. So they aren't creating something as big as Barr Al-Jissah resort or so.

I was sad that this lovely quiet place is being developed...many nice memories of boat trips etc...

But...the design is really interesting, and although the place is going to change so much, it seems they've tried to make something that fits somehow with its surroundings. It's certainly individual.

So it's going to be an Oberoi hotel? Another new brand in Oman - good!

Hmm not really, not the same and not the same owners.

We have a place in Oman which is called Al-Khairan near Al-Bustan in Muscat since God knows when, before creating the one in Dubai.
There is also a restaurant in Al-Bustan Palace Hotel named : "Al-Khairan" because of the area since a long too as well.
