Lol, No Lexus in the list ha?

And the M5 engine which is full of "problems" as people here say .. has beaten that 6.2 Litre of MB?

Anyways .. I expected to see BMW as winners since AMARANT opened the thread.

Just Engine, not Engineering and other factors..

What's the use of being Engine of the year if the car has very low resale value

^^ says the guy who owns a mustang :p

rosso, if u want a car with a good resale value, get a corolla or a camry, ppl will throw themselves at u with offers to buy a used 1

as a car lover, i wont buy a car only cuz it has a resale value

go on haters :p

those engines were not chosen by me, but by experts from around the world

so yah, BMW engines are great, the best actually

At least a 2005 Mustang like mine would lose 3k at 2008 of its value .. while a Bimmer would lose much more :p

Okay okay, hold your horses, the thread is about engine of the year, so lets not compare cars unless we are comparing engines at the first place :)

no it wont, check the market dude, mustang is 1 of the worse cars in resale, probably the worst!

ok back to topic, interesting to see new engines introduced strongly, the mini cooper S, and the new 1.4 twin-charger from VW...

it's like people are developing more small and effecient engines
