I have seen a lot of new members who come here and post 1 topic and then LEAVE! :mmhmm:

I think people who just register here and post 1 post and leave should have their topics locked really...
They don't even care about what they said or asked.

I think they want to book a nickname for the future.

I think we should not restrict freedom to post !!
We cannot know the intentions of the members from the first time they post!

i came in 2004 and posted only 1 post, then i came back last year and remained active!

You are not pleasing anyone, here you are pleasing yourself, so if this new member didn't reply, you shouldn't be bothered, plus we don't have ghosts indicator in the forum, so we can really say who is a ghost & who isn't :bored:

It doesn't matter if he/she didn't reply. Remember, other members are reading too and they too may benefit from your answer.

When I first registered I wasnt planing to stay for more than the break I had that January...I am surprised for having been around since then...I am never into these online things other than some other engineering forums!

and I think we shouldnt bother about those semi-members...it would be too bad for sabla to lock threads for that reason and there is no way to tell whether a member will stay or not, but I know that some of those people have been invited by other active members but did not find the place as appealing which is fine, it is not expected to be liked by everybody!
