Are you one of those who sit well and stand up the right way (shoulders are not closed not too open, straight back) or you are one of those with a messed up body posture?

I know very few girls who have a good body posture, I am working on mine and its getting back to what its supposed to be nowadays no more pillow hugging while watching t.v (I normally get backaches later on) and lots of swimming plus mom shouting on the background sit properly Charm, lol..

I guess I do, I never slump when I sit and I stand up straight, but I always look down when I walk for some reason.

When walking, I walk properly, back straight and all. When it comes to sitting, I tend to slouch back, lol:p

I believe I currently have no problems with my posture in anyway, be it walking, standing up or sitting. But every once in a while I would catch myself slouching while seated for prolonged periods of time or after a good ol' meal for some odd reason.

As a kid I used to slouch all the time and could barely sit up right without arching my back when I was seated on the floor watching cartoons (the good old days). I was also very thin which made my shoulders fall inwards to the front. My family always emphasized on the importance of posture and how I should correct my posture or I would end up like the hunchback of Notre Dame :p

Growing up I realized I needed to take care of my posture and I've corrected it al-hamdulillah (Grace be to Allah). It's also worth mentioning that working out has done wonders in correcting my posture, just as I have always been told.

I try to maintain my posture, and I think am doing pretty good, though I have my slouchy moments :p

Try tickling whoever is sitting and slouching, it helps them re-position to the right posture :D That's what I do with the girls and they hate me for it :p

I sleep wrong, sit wrong, and maybe even walk a bit wrong. My mom always keeps reminding me of my great great aunt, who is very old. Although she's maintained her beauty mashallah, her upper body is literally perpendicular to her lower body. My posture is not THAT bad, but I don't want to end up like her, poor lady :(

I walk the right way. But when I sit, I always like the lazy posture.

I'm crooked. When I stand/walk, I'm sort of bent more to one side at the hip. Also, when I sit, it's like I focus most of my weight on one side.

I'm not sure if it's just my posture, or if there's something wrong with my bone structure. It's pretty obvious to people who I am around a lot.
