Overview:

I am so glad that Christopher Nolan did this part too, I so enjoyed the first part, his movies are always interesting!

I loved Batman Begins. And I simply cannot wait for this as I've been waiting, not quite patiently, for a good two/three years.

I've been listening to the soundtrack this morning. I am not much of a soundtrack person, but this one has me hooked. It's a brilliantly dark, moody and propulsively repetitive (a bit like Philip Glass the way it keeps repeating themes). I'm loving it. Can't wait till the movies comes out next week, but if it's going to be shown in IMAX in Dubai, I might hold on till I get a chance to go see it there. I saw the extended trailer in IMAX in Bangkok last month and it was absolutely stunning.

Rumors that Ledger's Joker is so damn good that he'll be nominated for an Oscar, whether he wins it or not that's a different story.

He should win the oscar because he portayed the role exquistely and not because he died.

amazing!! Ledger was soo good. he made the joker as what he supposed to be, a psycho!! not a laughing man. you can see how this movie effected ledger. i think he is going to get an oscar.

am at a friends house and i can't stop thinking about it , i think i will see it again.

this is the kind of movie that you go out from in silence. everybody in the theater did. u can see their faces, its like the movie was so real we all felt it. and to think it was ledger's last movie made it more real.

plus the ending is amazing too. makes you want more.

Batman Begins came out in the US on June 15th, 2005. It was supposed to come out here in Oman a week later on June 22. You can even check the topic for it here on ES (http://www.englishsabla.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31291). I'm not sure if it ended up being delayed further or not. My son was born on June 21, 2005 and I didn't go see the movie till about a month later.

The Dark Knight is on its way to be officially the biggest movie opening of all times with estimates of between $150 to 160 million for its first three days of release in the US.

Batman Begins had a soft $48 million opening three years ago and ended up with just $205 million all together. The Dark Knight will surpass it within the first week of its release!

When I first walked into Batman Begins, I thought it was gonna be more ******** than the previous Batman movies and I was struck with this big, psychological, deep thriller that's not just 'another superhero movie'. Needless to say of course: I. Can't. Wait. For. This. One!

Absolutely stunning!

This is the best comic based movie ever created. It's dark and thrilling and a brilliant plot.

Heath Ledger is the bright gem in this movie no doubt. He's the fun guy, he's a villain, he plans everything well, and he's the only person who batman wants to kill but can't.

You will grip ur teeth watching this movie and just be in awe. A definite RE-WATCH!!

This is a movie that you don't feel the two hours & maybe you wouldn't mind more, where it keeps you on the edge from the start. Even with all the conversations, you feel there is something in the background running on. Amazing performance by Heath Ledger, he was totally freak! Great scenes, amazing soundtrack that added too much to the scenes.

So far the two parts are redefining the Batman, 4.9/5.

Stunning, absolutely stunning performance by the brilliant Heath Ledger, it's such a shame that he didn't live long enough to see the world praise this Iconic performance, and one that will most likely be nominated for an Academy Award. The story, visuals and the performances of the whole cast were outstanding and I can certainly understand now why the movie is doing so well.

I just can't get over how amazing the joker was in this movie, and 2 face was quite excellent too. One of the best movies of the year and certainly the best comic to movie adaptation to date.

10/10 , my fav of the year so far and it was well worth the wait.

R.I.P. heath, you left the world yet the world still is in awe of how great you are on the big screen.

Just came from watching it again! I was surprised, like I didn't watch it before.

Saw it and liked it...was a bit weird to watch Heath on the big screen. All in all loved the gadgets and special effects.

I LOVE joker :love:.

My favorite scene was the Joker in the hospital gown blowing up the building and it wouldn't go off..............then it DID! Priceless!

I felt sorry for Harvey though....THAT Two-Face freaked me out!

Note that Heath Ledger wasn't that famous prior to his death and this movie!
So maybe it did workabit.. but its not really a great kick to the advertising.
But lets be honest, from critics n review.. as well as fans... his performance is the best ever! Even Jack Nicholson praised his performance, and Jack is known to be mean when it comes to giving opions about others :D

Omg, exactly what I was thinking! Even when the joker would take long to show up, I'd get a bit bored and just wait for the joker! And when the joker and batman face each other, I wished the joker would kick his *** haha. It's a batman movie, but to me...it was the joker's. Even in the papers...they don't even put batman's picture to advertise, they put the joker's! Plus, I kind of agree with those who said his death helped in advertising (which is sad, but maybe good?), many people (like myself) wanted to watch the movie from the start just for him.

Great acting by Heath...it's sad how he isn't there to see how he amazed everyone.

Watched it, I'm verrry dissappointed ! I din't understand the whole movie I mean ALL of it..! whyy :( I'm a SMART person and I know it how come I din't get a thing? That's wroong.. And it's not like I din't try to understand I tried my best ugh it's annoying just thinking about it..
And for those who liked joker I thought I'd see Heath and he'd be hot and like I'd get to see his face but nothing of that happened :( ! He was all covered in make up and he was very messy and sh*t..

A great movie to say the least! Ledger's performance was outstanding and he did an extremely good job of portraying the joker as the psychopath that he is. I agree with spirit, Katie Holmes kicks Maggie Gyllenhaal's butt.

I watched a low quality version of the movie in the net, and yesterday evening I watched it for the second time in CineStar in Dubai...was just AWESOME!
Best movie in 2008! I loved the Joker's role a lot! Without him the movie wouldn't have been as great as it is..I'd give it 10/10.

Watched today, was interesting and lots of good senses, even thought I am not that fan of Batman anyway !

I mentioned the nurse scene early...that one had me rolling....I believe Heath practiced method acting with this role.

He locked himself in a room for a month and wrote in a journal as Joker

The way he talks, face expressions, the walk, laugh and the way he kept on licking his lips

I never really liked the superhero type of movies but this one really got me thrilled.
