Do you work better and harder under pressure?

Some people need that push to help them do better. They can't perform unless they are under stress and pressure. They're productivity is higher.

Are you like that?

Or are you someone who cannot perform or function under stressful situations or pressure?

I need encouragement and support but I can't handle pressure. I mean, if there's something I have got to do and I am under pressure; I'll do it anyway, but I won't feel good about it.

My productivity is higher when I'm under stress..
My grades in school are always high when I'm taking an overload of subjects!

I was worried at first that the pressure of deadlines when it comes to my line of work would get to me but I noticed that I work faster and better the more pressure I'm under, so yeah..I guess Im just like most people..I need that push to get my creative juices flowing.

Same here, most of the time I work super when I am under pressure and stress ( which is most of the time :p )

But there are sometimes when I just locked and can’t do anything at all ! it is wired but I do have that situation sometimes and people around me they know me when I reach that point !

Normally, I work better with stress

I am like that as well, i work better somehow when i am under pressure. when i have a deadline and i have to get something done by that time, it forces me to go it faster...whereas if i was just left on my own to do what i want and when i want, i'd end up being lazy.

I also do MUCH better when i am under pressure

According to a doctor I am on the verge of becoming a Pressure Addict. I felt sad when I found out about it, because this means if I don't change myself now, I'll live my life delaying everything to the last minute, being busy all the time, feeling pressured from every angle and then getting some psychological illness.

I thrive under pressure - but only in academic situations :p
Yesterday I was under a lot of pressure in a social situation between friends and there wasn't much thriving going on lol.

I do work better and get more done under pressure. When i know that i have a limited amount of time to get something done, i'll get on with it right then and there, but when i know i have all the time in the world, i won't 'bother' as much and i'll take forever to get it done doing a very tiny bit everyday.

I'm a bit too laid back when it comes to studying for exams, assignments, essays, etc. I only manage to do some work if I'm given a deadline. If not, I'll just end up forgetting about it overtime.. I'm a type of person who can work 2 days prior to the deadline, than finishing it weeks before. I just can't seem to work efficiently without deadlines. Without a deadline given, I'll just accept failure and do absolutely nothing.

So yeah, you could say that I work better under pressure.

I work better when i'm under pressure for some reason. whenever i know i have a lot of time to do something i tend to ignore it till 2-3 days before the deadline which is usually a big mistake since i have a lot of things to do most of the time.

Depends on my mood. And what I am doing.

I work better under pressure, even if I have long deadlines, I tend to pressure myself to finish it, it's just an old habit :)

i become dysfunctional under pressure, i sweat and eventually give up. so sad though-:( I usually work with a plan and give enough time for each piece. To me if I start a thing then there is no pressure at all even if i postpone the work for few hours before the dealine as long as I have a start I do well.

I need that pressure to function; It's How i've always been..

I never plan ahead for the most part.. And i'm that person whos pulling that ALL NIGHTER just to get an assigment finished.. I havent been disappointed, so I guess it works for me.

I used to thrive under pressure :D
it's become an inverse relationship now though :p
which is a really bad thing if you're a procrastinator xD
