Did you ever do something to your hair that you deeply regretted later on?

Be it cutting your hair, dying it, a hair do that went wrong ...

(Today, despite my mother's warnings, I decided to cut my hair alone at home :cry:.One minute it was right above my elbow, the next it was inches under my chin. :cry: I feel SO sad. It was very stupid of me, I held my pony tail to the side and clip, clip, clip. Then 'Oh wait, it's not straight' and another clip, clip, clip. That happend ... 5 times. And I ended up with this misery.)

Yes, dying my hair two years ago. It turned out so wrong and I never heard the end of it. It was the first and last time.

i got a bad haircut ages ago
and i cut my fringe in the midterm holiday ... regreted it at first but then i rwalised i love it ! i always want it to be like this now :D

now i'm very cautious, almost paranoid when it comes to my hair. i have to study all aspects and make sure the hairstylist gets exactly what i mean.

nothing worse then ending up with a haircut you hate. every time you look at the mirror you don't like what you see. xD

my hair was if i can say MASH2ALLAH very thick ,very healthy but its now very thin and its falling:'(

my parents shaved my hair when i was 1 and applied heaps of stuff to it in order it become good! it made it worse. and i suffered from my hair all my life till i came to Australia and Decided to take it all off again like when i was a baby.. lol and its been like that for 3 years now :D and looks awsome

Yes I recently cut my hair short. And I regret it. I love long hair! Now it'll probably take decades to grow back again. Seriously depressing. Also regarding hair dying, I once dyed my hair red and it was cool at first. But then the colour started fading away and it looked horrible. Oh and I once highlighed my hair this light brown/beige colour, it turned out to be TOO blonde for my liking...hated it.

i know how you feel umkhalid...i remember this one time LONG BACK when my hair was long..i CHOPPED IT OFF above the shoulders!!! lol when i went to school the next day, people were in SHOCK! looool i regreted it..but thank god hair grows back:)

like a few years ago (and i have da pix :D) i went blonde, no one liked it but i dint care, n it looked awesome on me! after dat i went blue, n it rocked as well.

i went long hair for 2 yrs or so n everyone liked it.

now im staying bald or very lil hair n it makes me look mature and actually more attractive to the female gender. So Allah has given me such a shape that anything suits me MashaAllah!

until a week after a hair cut i always hate how i look.. n i always hate it that i cut my hair when i like it long but i do just for the sake of cutting it.. but then i get use to it..

i never died my hair.. n dont think i will.. i like my natural color

The first time I cut my hair real short, I regretted it for maybe half an hour, but all was good after I had a good look at it :D

OMG!!!!

One time and only one time only I decided to straighten my hair myself. My hair is like curly/wavy...anyhoo....I used this straightener for African American women on this Puerto Rican hair...left it on tooooooo long and it came out broomstick straight and DRY....I kept using this hair cholestrol to get some of the ompfh back into it but took awhile.

NEVER did that again mama mia!

^ Oooh! :os Maskeena! I know someone who did the same thing, her hair (where she put the straightener) starting falling heavily whenever she brushed. Poor thing was depressed for months. It took her hair 4 months until it got back to normal.

If I ever thought of straightening my hair, it all went after hearing about that.

I had a problem with hair fall a couple of years ago.. I thought it might have been a conditioner I was using (I never used a conditioner since!).. others said it might be because of stress.. but that only made me start stressing about stressing xD I was seriously scared xD Alhamdulilah it’s back to how it was before :cute:
I never dyed my hair and although I love how raven it is, turning to a red head or brunet did cross my mind a few times but I never went through with it lol.

hmmm... I always cut my fringe myself, and sometimes it looks good sometimes it looks bad, but if it looks bad, I'll pin it back, or wear it differently... I cut my hair into a bob last year, it was ok, but I couldn't wait for it to grow back. Once I streaked my hair pink, and it made me look like a punk, I hated that phase, it lasted a good two weeks and then I dyed it black. Oh and once, I went to a salon I've never been to before, just because it was open late at night and I really wanted to have a haircut THAT DAY, anywho, I told the lady EXACTLY what I wanted, and she did the opposite, I had one of those half long hair half fringe hair cuts, omg it was horrible. The next day I went to my normal hairstylist who stays on the cutting edge and she gave me a hip, edgy hair-do. Thank goodness.

I think hair is something soooooo important as the saying goes hair is a crowning glory. And its ok UmK, you can do something funky with it short I'm sure :D

I love change! and I always do something new to my hair..like every 6 months xD. It never went wrong, I always end up liking it.

once in a salon they cut my hair shorter and i hated it

and also when i dyed it in a saloon in Duabi i have chosen a color *light brown with golden look* they turned it to be ORANGE!

i hate it and i changed it after a week later then my hair started to fall down

I don't have that many because I never take risks with my hair; it is usually the same kind of hairstyle over and over again and I never dyed my hair :inno:. But I remember this one time when I was younger and wanted to get a little bit creative, I told the hair dresser to chop my hair at the front, so it is shoulder length while leaving the hair at the back long. It was not steps or layered, it was just shoulder length and the rest was about an inch above my bottom. So if I was seen from the front, it would look like my hair was shoulder length but if I was seen from the back, they would think my hair is considerably longer. lol

It looked terrible :os
