When you're extremely feeling cold, how do you warm yourself up -- apart from wearing sweaters/heavy clothes?

I usually have a hot drink (mostly milk with sugar/honey). Also, home made hot chocolate is great! If I am out, a vanilla bean hot chocolate from Second Cup is a MUST!

I envy people with a fire place! :inno:

Wear socks and make myself a hot chocolate or mint tea with honey :love:

Home: Turn on the heater and snuggle up under the blanket.
Out: Buy a hot drink if possible, or just walk around in circles wishing the cold away.

A warm/hot drink does the trick

I Eat food.

- hot chocolate or coffee
- eat chocolate
- grab my blanket and socks -_-

I know this may sound crazy, but when I'm freezing, I loooooooove eating icecream! LOTS AND LOTS OF ICECREAM, and in the cold air aaahhhh... I dont like being really warm, I'll probably turn the heater or central heating on for about an hour and it'll warm me up. Sometimes a nice cup of soup or tea helps.

I'm always feeling cold when I'm not outside. At home I rarely switch on the AC unless I'm going to bed. I just cover up with a blanket, and if the weather is cold out side I also wear a sweater and socks. I rarely have anything to drink unless I'm out and it's really cold..so that would be abroad.

go under the blanket .. bring the hair dryer and turn it on inside with me under the blanket ... it gets hottt in a very nice way ! :cute:

Just do something about the AC & cover myself.

i hate heaters or electric blankets (i have both). in extreme cold, i have a cold shower, dry off briskly and jump straight to bed.

Go Under the blanket. i guess only that i dont drink or do anything because i hardly can walk or move because my hands and legs are usually cold.

With -25C in the winter with -30C windchill, you have to do plenty of stuff to stay warm. Besides the clothing (gloves, scarf, toque (http://www.ocanadagear.com/graphics/toque-ribbed-navy.jpg), sweater, jacket and sometimes the thermal underwear) I make myself a hot tea or hot chocolate. During the winter months, the heater in the apartment is on all the time ( don't have control over it) but it keeps the place warm and comfortable.

Thank god it is not freezing anymore, very nice 20C nowadays.

OMG I don't think I'd ever be able to survive in Canada! It only gets as cold as -6 here (in very extreme cases) and I already wear all that sometimes.

Open the AC , Eating Ice Cream and take a deep cold bath.

i don't drink hot drinks...it's RARE if i do:p

so to warm up , i'd use fire:)

if it was back home I’d snuggle next to mom or little brother in my sweater and socks – they’re like radiators xD
haha sometimes when my hands are cold I’d just grab theirs to steal their warmth :p (or sometimes just to annoy him hehehe)
If out, I’d fold my arms, rub my hands and blow into them and move my legs.
if I was in a mall or near the campus center I’d get a hot cup of chocolate.
