- I find all pregnant women cute except me :s

- I made meternity skirts and blouses and everyone was aginst me saying I am suffocating the baby .. as long as they are loose I dont think I should stick to long dresses

- My mom and my husband .. I dont think I would want to have my baby without them both.

- My parents house .. my husband is trying to convince me to stay at our apartament since it will be eaiser for his family to feel comfortable but no I wouldnt let the chance to be pampered for 40 days slip away :p

Look wise: Do you find pregnant women sexy, cute, okay, ugly?

I find pregnant women the prettiest, most adorable and sexiest beings on earth. Something about them makes me go all "aww" :inno:

Ward robe: When you get pregnant, would you buy maternity clothes or would you just get loose clothes/dresses?

I would wear something like what Toxic honey has posted. I hate wearing those ugly maternity dresses that our mothers used to wear. I would like to be a fashionable mamita :p

During labour: If you could choose one person to be with you in the delivery room, who would it be? (for the men, would you get into the delivery room with your wife?).

My husband (I hope I would want him there, but you never know what the pain can do to you and you might not want to see his face :mmhmm:) and my grandmother. She just has this calming affect on me. When she is there, I'm no longer scared. I am sure her presence will act as natural tranquilizer - Mashallah :)

After birth (the first month or so): Would you stay at your parent's house or your own place (where ever you stay- with your in laws or apartment/house)?

My mother's definitely. There is no doubt, I will be more comfortable with my mother and immediate family to help me with my baby. I don't want to impose on my in laws and also I would find it awkward to ask some of them to do things for me...

HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF.......:o NO ONE BUT MY HUSBAND!!! he must be there...to see the results of his participation:rolleyes: loool naah..but really, i'd want him there..i'd feel sad and lonely if he wasn't :( i wont let ANYONE else in! NO ONE! not even mother! only me, husband and doctor/nurse!!!!

After birth (the first month or so): Would you stay at your parent's house or your own place (where ever you stay- with your in laws or apartment/house)?[/B]
why does it matter where i stay?? as long as i have someone there with me to help out a lil :shy:....

I find pregnant women the prettiest, most adorable and sexiest beings on earth. Something about them makes me go all "aww" :inno:

likewise! absolutely adorable and sexy. they have this glow. :cute:

Ward robe: When you get pregnant, would you buy maternity clothes or would you just get loose clothes/dresses?
maternity, i'd wear things similar to what Toxic posted. :)

During labour: If you could choose one person to be with you in the delivery room, who would it be?
is it allowed in Oman? to have someone with you in the delivery room?
if so then i'd want my mommy! because first of all, i don't think my hubby would wanna be there. and second, my mother has been there 6 times before. i'd like someone with experience and unconditional love with me. :D

after birth (the first month or so): Would you stay at your parent's house or your own place (where ever you stay- with your in laws or apartment/house)?
definitely my parents. i'd be more comfortable with my mother and sisters.

Pregnant women are sooo cute! You simply can't miss their glowing faces.. the girls and I can't take our eyes off of any pregnant woman heh.. for some reason there's a smile printed on their faces all the time :)

Ward robe: When you get pregnant, would you buy maternity clothes or would you just get loose clothes/dresses?
I think I'd be getting maternity clothes, the outfits are just too cute to miss out on! I'm already said to be wearing pregnantly style of outfits sometimes :p I just love 'em.
Did you know that there's a pregnant style overall? I so want that!

During labour: If you could choose one person to be with you in the delivery room, who would it be? (for the men, would you get into the delivery room with your wife?).
My cousin and soul sister R. I might let my husband be there for a lil while 'by my head' just to see how much I suffer so that he'd let me name the kids :D

After birth (the first month or so): Would you stay at your parent's house or your own place (where ever you stay- with your in laws or apartment/house)?
I'd want to stay at my grandparents place. Lots of support.

I find them very cute and sexy if she was skinny prior to pregnancy otherwise she just looks like a ball.

Ward robe: When you get pregnant, would you buy maternity clothes or would you just get loose clothes/dresses?
I would buy maternity clothes just like in the pictures toxic honey posted.
I would never just buy any loose clothes or wear those jalabeyas.

During labour: If you could choose one person to be with you in the delivery room, who would it be? (for the men, would you get into the delivery room with your wife?).
My mom, i am not sure if i want my husband .

After birth (the first month or so): Would you stay at your parent's house or your own place (where ever you stay- with your in laws or apartment/house)?
No waaay my in laws place, I don’t want to be at my best behaviour and acting as if everything is fine while I am exhausted and needing help. I can’t just pop into my in-laws room late at night and handling the crying baby to them because I want to sleep ( I suppose I can do that at my parents place :D ) so I am defiantly going to my parents place..

So incredibly CUTE :D! But not sexy lol!

Ward robe: When you get pregnant, would you buy maternity clothes or would you just get loose clothes/dresses?
I think I'd go with maternity clothes so that I can still look good. The ones Toxic Honey posted are really nice and with some (like the light brown jacket) you can hide your big tummy if you're not feeling very pretty.

During labour: If you could choose one person to be with you in the delivery room, who would it be? (for the men, would you get into the delivery room with your wife?).
Hmm.. not sure, maybe no one?! I'm sure I'd change my mind by then and would probably want my husband and/or mother with me lol.

After birth (the first month or so): Would you stay at your parent's house or your own place (where ever you stay- with your in laws or apartment/house)?
Parents house for sure. I'd want my mother there with me and I'd be able to ask for whatever I want without feeling shy.

Anything comfortable, that would emphasize my giant tummy

Probably my mom, closest friend and husband...Although I'd feel more comfortable with a female figure present.

Parents I guess

Depends, but I think most just look really fat and tired all the time. I wouldn't wanna know what I look like pregnant. God, the thought of never losing the pregnancy weight is scary!

Ward robe: When you get pregnant, would you buy maternity clothes or would you just get loose clothes/dresses?
I'd buy maternity wear. I'd live in maternity jeans and cute tops. I'm not into dresses.

During labour: If you could choose one person to be with you in the delivery room, who would it be? (for the men, would you get into the delivery room with your wife?).
My husband. He has to be there to hold my hand. And maybe he should video everything so when my kid disobeys me in the future I'll make him/her watch it so they can appreciate how much I went through to bring them into the world!

After birth (the first month or so): Would you stay at your parent's house or your own place (where ever you stay- with your in laws or apartment/house)?

Mother must be there, yes I would like to have my husband next to me, but it’s really not a good advice to let your husband get into the delivery room and let him witness all what’s happening, I cant tell why here :d

But honestly it’s not good.

I heard that it's Makhrooh that your husband sees you giving birth because it might put him off of you (with all the blood and whatnot).

After birth (the first month or so): Would you stay at your parent's house or your own place (where ever you stay- with your in laws or apartment/house)?
Definitely at my parents house. It's actually a tradition in Arab societies for the mother to spend some time after child birth at her mothers'.

During my pregnancies I felt like shit. Worst time of my life. I read and hear about this supposed glow that pregnant women are supposed to feel and it never came.
Doesn't mean I didn't feel sexy though. Surprisingly, I felt very sexy - on my good days especially - and I do think pregnant women are in a class of their own. The end gets tough, but you find ways to cope. You just have to get imaginative.

Clothes: I had a few babydoll tops, and just used to buy drawstring trousers and tie them under the belly. Underwear was what was most uncomfortable.

Birth: My husband was there both times. Second time my mother was allowed in for most of it. There won't be a next time, but imagining there was, I could probably do it alone. Less distractions, more time to focus on them waves of pain and ride them out like a boat on the high seas.

After the birth I'd rather be alone. Would be nice to have someone around to make dinner, wash the clothes and clean the house - which thankfully I did have in both kids. But I don't think I'd like to be in someone else's house, not even my mother's. I want my bed, my stuff, my bathroom etc..

It won't put him off you hun.. I think men need to be there. They need to see what their wife goes through and they need to witness the first breath of their baby, if they can.

Everything goes back to normal in a few weeks. You wouldn't want him to touch you before that especially if you need sutures ;)

n if i ws in labor n having birth.. i want my hubby with me..a lot of people told me not to ask 4 that.. but my dad was with my mom in every delivery n he wasnt disgusted or anything.. n its just so over cute to be there to support ur wife!

n where i stay.. i think the first couple of weeks with my parents.. it just helps with mom's help.. but if i were to stay in his parents house i wouldn't mind ( depending on how his parents r )

Anyways, if my husband is in the room, I want him by my head and not anywhere else, so there is no chance he would get disgusted. It is too risky for him to be wandering around the delivery theater. You never know what he might see :o

I already witnessed a live being giving birth ... three times. :D Our dog. So it wasn't three, it was actually more than that since in one time she delivers 7-8 pups. So ... wow, I've seen our dog give birth more than 20 times.

Really, what I felt was: Wow. All I could repeat was 'Subhan Allah'. I didn't think it was disgusting at all, even though normally if I saw what I saw, I would be disgusted. But seeing live pups coming out was really amazing.

My uncle used to slaughter for Eid when he was studying in the US, so he's used to blood. Yesterday his wife gave birth to a baby girl (congratulate me:p) and he saw the WHOLE thing. He doesn't think it's disgusting, he thinks it's a miracle. Through the whole visit he sat next to his wife, with a huge smile on his face. He even showed us pictures of him in that green uniform he had to wear when he went into the delivery room.

See, it's CUUUUTE. Not disgusting at all. Especially when they see their own child coming to the world.

my husband was with me throughout both births, and good job (for his sake) that he was and all.
women need a punching bag while getting contractions. someone to dig their nails into, someone to shout abuse at, and someone to tell 'you do this again to me you f*er i'm gonna f*ing kill you'.
or something to that effect.

I personally find pregnant women cute with their big bellies, and it is even cuter when their men help them out :cute:
I wouldn't mind maternity clothing as long as they are comfy and stylish in a way.
The only person I think I want at that time is my husband. He'll be the only one who could calm me down and help me through it. As for after birth, I would like to stay at my parent's house where I can ask for help without hesitation.

Well, my sisters stayed in my parents house when they gave birth to their babies, and I think I'll do the same. I dont think I can handle everything on my own in the first few months.

I would want my own stuff around me too, and I'd rather be in my own room.. but I do have a room at my parents' place even though I'm not supposed to stay there anymore. I guess that wouldn't make it too bad.

Also, I'd want to stay with my parents because I know I can just be myself and won't have to act extra perfect and all. If I'm annoyed or frustrated (which I'm sure I will be, especially with a first child - being a whole new experience and all) I can show it. If I'm tired or annoyed, I can just give my mum the baby to look after fo a while. Also, I'd get to learn what I need to do baby-wise since my mum has a lot of experience with kids and i'm kind of clueless about babies.
